I borrowed my daughters before making the decision to purchase and I'm so glad I did.
I used it on my kitchen and bathroom floors, which are like lino but the glued down tougher version. It left them wet and looking no different in cleanliness. (I redid them with a clean cloth and they were still dirty!) I next tried it on my carpets and some stains I had, no difference what so ever, except it left my carpets wet, so I had to put towels down while they dried. (My carpet shampooer doesn't leave them this wet!) Also the switch kept sticking on, so I had to turn off at the plug and it left my kitchen really wet on the 2nd day of using it.
