The Powerchimp seemed like a good idea because I could increase the milliampage of the batteries used to charge anything - or so I thought. I was using a pair of 2300mah batteries to charge my HTC TytnII (1350mah) overnight. When I went to bed it was 92% charged and in the morning was reduced to 28%. The p'chimp had leeched charge back. I rang the manufacturer and they could not haver been nicer. No only did they immediately offer a swap for a P'monkey Explorer (but without the pointless solar charger (or gnat's sunbed)) but also included a free connector just for my phone. The P'monkey is a 5 star affair. But I'm giving the chimp four stars because the manufacturer are the mutt's and for emergencies, the p'chimp will do the biz.

In response to the above comment, firstly you are commenting on something you dont even own, secondly how are you even sure its this kind of speaker that you are hearing> thirdly the limiter is the volume control on the stereo and lastly, if you only live 2 doors away how are you so sure it can be heard 10 houses down?
Onto a more serious note, they are a great buy if you just want to listen to music on the odd occasion in this country where the weather is actually good enough to be in the garden having a bbq. The sound is actually better than i imagined from something so cheap. Just be sure not to use them on full volume to avoid pissing off the person who reviewed before me.
