I have a lot of box topiary in the garden, and this tool is much easier for me than hand shears. My husband finds shears easier, but I find them hard work on my elbows. I have been able to trim all the topiary inside a week, which in the past would have taken about a month, because I would have put off doing it due to blisters and aches. However this shrub shear is good where the foliage is dense, and not so good if it is loose and floppy, you just have to get a knack of working fairly slowly so you cut the loose stems rather than pressing them down and leaving them.
This shrub shear has made box trimming an enjoyable occupation again.

We have a 15 year old cat with kidney failure, so water intake was a big issue. Our cats always seemed to prefer water puddles in the garden to the water bowl we were at pains to fill with fresh water every day. In desperation I decided to try a water fountain and, honestly, they really like it. We've put it on a timer device to cut its power use, so it comes on and off several times a day - and as far as I can see it has definitely attracted both our cats to drink more. True, it's a bit awkward to lift up and down once a week to clean everything and wash the filter, and the instructions could be better, but we feel it's been a worthwhile addition to the cats' environment. Getting the water to cascade over the whole dome is difficult - ... Read More:

Bought this bottle for mixing energy drinks and it does the job well. Light but very strong and well made. The lid flips open nicely and doesnt spill when drinking. You can unscrew the lid and the mouth is nice and wide for adding energy poweder mix or fluid. A nice touch is the removable inner tube which you can freeze to keep the drink cool in the summer. Overall very impressed with this product and unlike other sports bottle this one should last.

This is the first detector I've used and I am impressed. Very solidly built, extremely easy to use, and very reasonably priced. If you can use a radio then you can use one of these. Listening through headphones gives a strangely spooky experience. It's not only bats you can hear as well - it's amazing the amount of ultrasonic noise there is out there!
