How they can claim this works with all pests is unbelievable. The biology or rodents and insects cannot be any further apart. Those of you who have has success, the reason is probably that they died of natural causes. Anyway, I bet the person who thought it worked for ants has changed their mind by now. It didn't for me. I spoke to a pest controller who sorted my problem out. He said quote, 'if they worked I'd be a millionaire, if they worked my suppliers would sell them, take it back and get your money back!, oh and ants don't have ears and rats couldn't care less!"

Nicely made, happily chips everything up to 40mm and anything bigger than that we use on the fire anyway. Rarely jams and not too noisy. Chips are suitable for mulch. (Just seen Argos have it on at £99, drat!) Had it about 4 weeks and it's eaten apple trees, hawthorn, elder and even dried wood -- it looks more robust than most other similarly priced models I looked at.

WIND UP CAMPING LANTERN/ DELUX/ NO BATTERIES REQUIRED Bought this lamp as a cheap, battery free alternative for camping. I had my doubts before it arrived due to the somewhat mixed reviews that it has received. However, I try to always be as objective as possible but I cannot honestly fault this device. I wound it for one minute as instructed and the lamp delivers ample lighting in very dark areas without fading for at least one hour. Of course, it does not have the brightness of battery powered lanterns but the light output would be very sufficient for a tent in the middle of nowhere in the pitch black. The product took about 3 weeks to work and it worked fine for about 3 months, however, Mr Mouse woke me up at 3:00 am this morning climbing out of my little bedroom bin........so unfortunately the product was not worth buying.............

What these things are not:-
Cheap substitutes for larger dehumidifiers like the DeLonghi DNC60 (or larger!). As described they are for small areas/spaces like cupboards, wardrobes or perhaps smaller cabins storage areas on certain boating/camping trips. There are a variety of these out there, and are often up to £20 in price. At that price I'd say 3 stars, but this twin-pack offers good value, so hence 4. Do read the (don't worry, short) instructions as info such as the unit warming during "recharging" is important.
