I bought this item because it looks good and promises to keep my liquids hot (or cold, for that matter).
I also bought it because it clearly says on each side of the box that it is dishwasher safe (you know how vacuum flasks can retain odours of the last liquid item, unless cleansed quickly and thoroughly). Once home, however, and having opened the packaging and excitedly followed the instructions on washing, prior to using, I was disappointed to read in the instruction booklet that the flask must not be cleansed in a dishwasher. I guess I could have taken it back to the store, but the retailer is not to blame. Masterclass are either inept with their instructions or insincere in the claims ... Read More: >>More Details |

I purchased one of these last November from another Amazon seller and, at that time, I would agree that it seemed to strongly made and worked well. Unfortunately, the blades are chrome plated steel and the chrome disintegrates at the spindle end, which the most most stressed point (and almost impossible to completely dry after use). So, apart from including little bits of chrome plating in the ice, the spindle end of the blades are rusting, giving an 'interesting' colour tint to the ice!
A great pity that the blades are not made Stainless steel, which would have prevented this problem. >>More Details |

Unfortunately, the blades are chrome plated steel and the chrome disintegrates at the spindle end, which the most most stressed point (and almost impossible to completely dry after use). So, apart from including little bits of chrome plating in the ice, the spindle end of the blades are rusting, giving an 'interesting' colour tint to the ice!
