I just installed this on my desktop and laptop and not found it not too different to outlook 2003. Can't really see major changes but as all msn office product goes, it is still fairly easy to use.

After years of my grumbling about Microsoft Windows operating systems, the hand of fate intervened and my laptop's hard drive and motherboard simultaneously failed, giving me the perfect excuse to go out and buy a new Apple iMac, a machine that can run Mac OS X 10.5 and Windows alongside each other, very useful to avoid wasting my investment in Windows software over the years. Not wishing to install Vista, I instead chose to purchase the Windows XP OEM Home Edition SP3 from Amazon for a very reasonable £65.17, which arrived within 2 days with the usual Amazon efficiency.
Using the Mac OS X Boot Camp application to install my new software, I was up and running in Windows XP in less than 30 minutes, connected wirelessly to my Netgear ... Read More:

Within minutes of completing the acoustic optimisation procedure after installation you will be surprised at how quickly and naturally you can speak and how accurate the voice recognition is. For me, it was about 98% accurate and much faster than typing.
Unfortunately, this was spoiled by a headset that pinches, even after being adjusted for size, and leaves you with a headache within fifteen minutes. This seemed more like a poorly designed product than a manufacturing error. The manual also states that the headset can be worn either way round. However, the earpiece is obviously designed to be worn over the left ear and is much less comfortable over the right. This is inconvenient if your computer is on your right. I don't know whether all ... Read More:

Having used MS Money in the past, I was disappointed having downloaded the trial of the latest version, that it was not possible to buy it unless you were in the US. I thought I'd give Accountz a go as to be honest there don't appear to be many products on the market. It is however one of the worst software purchases I've ever had the misfortune to use. Completely illogical in how it works (particularly if you are used to MS Money) the user instructions are poor, it looks cheap and nasty and I will be reverting to a home made database instead

Although I did have some minor problems installing this product with a little bit of research I managed to resolve it.
This programme is highly capable and highly useful. It might take a little bit of getting used to as in the way you talk to it and it needing a limited amount of training. But the end result is surprisingly accurate. I am very impressed.
The biggest problem that I have is remembering to use the software as I tend to automatically go to the keyboard to type.
The other great aspect of this software is that you can use it anywhere that you would normally type. So in effect if you wanted you could almost never have to type another word again.

Wish I'd read the reviews before ordering this product. I agree with everyone else and can't add much to comments that have already been made (doesn't calculate VAT etc). Stay away from this version of Quickbooks.

It's always sound commercial sense to shoot yourself in the foot by alientaing your core customers. I'm a self confessed early adopter, so I knew this would be a challenge but after many months I've given up and moved to Open Office!

I have been reluctant to upgrade from XP for a while because of all the negative things I've heard about Vista. Being a computer geek I always thought it somewhat ironic that this is exactly what everyone was saying when XP came out and I had always wondered if this was just the same lack of will to change.
I'm now convinced that that is all it is. Vista 64 is great. Whatever rubbish people say about the difficulty of finding drivers really isnt true - all my software, hardware and games run on it with no problem at all.
It looks great, is much faster to use than XP once you get the hang of it - the layout makes more sense and I reckon Vista 64 gets better performance out of your components than XP.
64bit Vista is the only windows as far as I know that will support ... Read More:
