Mac users don't think about viruses and spam as often as they should, and this is so so easy to install and use even for people, like me, who aren't amazing with computers. Great for a Mac user to have peace of mind!

Have just got this and WOW! Have used previous versions of the Virus Barrier but this time decided to get the security suite as it includes anti-spam and I have been getting increasing spam mail over the last few months. This adds a SPAM folder and puts suspect mail in here where you can just delete it or review. It also gives you the option to teach it spam or learn good email which means I rarely get a spam mail in my inbox now. Can't praise this enough and is really good value with Virus and Net barrier included.

It does the job, but slows the computer down as well. (Especially when starting up). The parental controls take a long time to load which can be a pain when you want to visit a website! The antivirus software seems fine. It has blocked all viruses that gave entered my inbox :) >>More Details |

As an anti-spam device I suppose it was effective, but only because it prevented Outlook Express from downloading any email. It also introduced instabilities in Internet Explorer and made the computer liable to crash. The automated help on the Symantec website was no use at all. After paying Symantec good money to damage my computer you can imagine I wasn't prepared to pay for technical assistance for them to try and fix it. From reading other comments on the internet I seems that the program does work for some people, but there are also many who share my bad experience. I'm afraid I've lost interest in trying to make it work after 2 weeks. My previous faith in Symantec products has gone. Only one good thing about this product, it did uninstall ... Read More:
