I was fortunate enough to be lent this DVD and in conjunction with the Theory CD passed my theory test first time around. That said, I am learning to ride a motorcycle as an experienced driver. The DVD progressively explains Hazards with a gradual emphasis on differentiating static hazards from Developing ones (ie ones which absolutely force a driver/rider to change speed or direction). This much is fairly obvious. I think to fully grasp the material it is worthwhile viewing 3 or 4 times to pick up on the subtleties and in spite of the narrators explaining that there is no benefit in resitting the example tests, I think it all reinforces the learning process so I would disagree.
This "complete learner driver pack" does exactly what it promises to do. Three books packed with information on how to pass your theory and practical tests are ideal for learner drivers and those who are teaching people to drive.
The theory test book gives every question that you could be asked in 2008/2009 and gives each with an answer and explanation conveniently located on the other side of the page. Whilst practice elsewhere is required to pass the hazard perception, this is what got me past the multiple choice part of the test. The full highway code is also provided as a appendix for any other questions.
The other two books are also part of the DSA series on teaching people how to drive. The first presents itself as a ... Read More:

I bought this latest book to prepare my theory test, I studied the Highway Code first and then I did all the practices on the book. And I had full marks on my theory test, thanks to this book. The content is brilliant, however, I think the design is so so, they could do better.
If you want to pass your test, buy this book and of course you have to study hard, then you should have no problem at all.

If you are going to take your theory test, for either LGV or PSV, this cd-rom is a must buy. It gives you all the possible questions you could be asked in the theory test, and also explains the reasons for the correct answers. You can work through all the individual categories for the theory test, and also do mock tests which are set out just like the theory exam. An excellent aid that helped me pass my LGV theory tests.

I bought this for my daughters 4 th birthday. On level 1 it is ideal for her she can work out what to do on each screen and can be left to learn on her own. It is easy to move around the different sections, 8 i believe, and then has varoius games within each section. There are two more levels for her to move onto and level 3 kept my fairly clever nearly 7 years old amused too.
A great learning tool that it fun too!

I run an Online Astronomy Group HantsAstro.org. This product, once updated works fine with Vista Premium. Visually it's not as pretty as Starry Night, but for the price offers telescope control with updated ASCOM drivers and runs an LXD75 telescope fine in our tests. The star catalogs are accurate and the interface, once learnt is quite useful, if a little clunky compared to Starry Night. As planetarium software goes, with introduction presentations to the night sky it does quite well. The 'Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy' intro turns from amusing to a bit tacky after the third time you load it, but thankfully this can be turned off. Being able to generate your own reports for a nights oberving is a useful feature. If you want telescope control, this ... Read More:

Bought this for my 8 yr old to build her confidence. Just finished real school yr 3 so the first CD Yr3 is a really good refresher. She sat there for ages with her friend working through the questions, then still was eager to continue until bedtime. The storyline & graphics were very good having to collect items going round the map to finally get the keys. The pleasure from the kids when they acheive each of the answers and stages was great to hear. Not sure they realised how much homework they did. Good for me to pick up on a lot of school work areas that she had obviously covered that I never knew she had learnt. Great !!
She can't wait to get onto the next levels & CD's.
