I bought this for my 6 year old daughter to help improve her English and Math skills, and I can't praise this programme enough!
My daughter actually looks forward to playing the games and frequently comes up to me saying "Mummy, can I play Jump Ahead Year 2 now please?" with much enthusiasm. I thought it might be just a fad - like with all toys! But she really does enjoy it. I think its because the math games are challenging and she enjoys the excitement of the "theme" of the game, like jumping over crocodiles to get across a river. I love this product! Im Infinite Sudoku and Jigsaw Mania crazy, I cant keep off the game since I loaded it onto my computer!

My eight year old daughter needed some extra coaching in mental maths as they call it these days. Not being very good at it myself I was recommended this package as something that would help her. It works on the idea of converting maths problems into an alien type shoot em up closely modelled on the classic space invaders.
I wouldn't say that it's my daughter's favourite thing in the world to be doing, but she enjoys it more than sitting at the table while someone fires problems at her head. After the initial grumbling she can get fairly immersed in it, and has even, on the odd occasion gotten rather competitive. I would say that her maths skills are improving, so it's doing what it says on the tin, which is surely a good thing. >>More Details |

My kids (aged 5 and 8) have loved this software. The 8 year old has spent hours making the cartoon stories, whereas the 5 year old has had great fun with the painting and collage sections. I bought this for my daughters 4 th birthday. On level 1 it is ideal for her she can work out what to do on each screen and can be left to learn on her own. It is easy to move around the different sections, 8 i believe, and then has varoius games within each section. There are two more levels for her to move onto and level 3 kept my fairly clever nearly 7 years old amused too.

I found this software very useful and it kept my son engrossed for a long time, he loves the sticker rewards for each task completed. My only grip is that there are no instructions, although we quickly worked out how what to do once we clicked around a few times. >>More Details |
