Mummy - This is Rubbish! This is what my daughter said to me when we put this on! I am so glad it was a present and I didn't waste any money on this. My daughter is 2 yrs and this was far too babyish for her even though it is meant for 1.5 - 3 yrs. It is very limited and we finished it in under an hour. The animations are repeated on the different screens, so if you see the Elephant on one screen, he sings the same song in the abc screen, the numbers screen, etc and it is really boring. The font used for the ABC learning is a 'comic' shaped font, so it would be hard for a child to recognise the actual shape of a letter. And a lot of the animations didn't make sense anyway. I have a very active toddler with a very low attention span!!! Once he saw this we had trouble getting him off the computer. The graphics are very colourful and there is plenty of music. Lots to interact with and friendly voices to encourage. I would certainly recommend this to anyone.

My little one started playing on this at 18 months old. She is now nearly 3 and has the most incredible mouse control and loves playing on this. She is able to understand all the directions given by the characters and can find her own way around all the different parts and games. This is just an amazing, fun and educational introduction into using computers and teaching mouse control. I was recommended it and can also fully recommend it to others!

Although the software is outdated, I found it very useful for my 14 months old daughter. If you have a touchscreen device, it is very practical and she likes popping balloons by her little finger very much. The program works on windows XP but sometimes crashes.
If you want to introduce PC to your children this software is a good startpoint. Its affordable price makes it worth trying. I use it in small periods everyday and I can say it significantly improved her perception and reaction. >>More Details |

I no longer own this cd but I can honestly say that is was one of the first and best cd's we bought our little boy,we actually gt our copy in America before Blue was heard of in England.It was packed full of fun things to do Blue took you on a journey through the jungle looking for animals,she took photos of the animal for you to print out,Blue has many friends to help her and your child solve the puzzles,you have to solve a puzzle to get a word for your word book and play around so you can make up fun story's in it.I could actually go on for ages about this but I'll finish of by saying you and your child cant help but love her have fun and your child has learnt without tantrums or tears.I would also highly reccomend Blues BIrthday and Blues treasure equally ... My daughter is almost five years old and loves the TV series of Jay Jay the Jet Plane on Channel 5, so I thought I'd buy Sky Heroes To The Rescue as an Easter treat. The graphics and sound are quite good ( we run it on G4 Mac) but some of the missions are a bit monotonous and it is a bit confusing as to what exactly you have to do when you complete the last task. (also watch out for Americanisms!) - She did notice though that Brenda Blue isn't the same one we see on TV in the UK! I would give it 5/10 but my daughter loves it. >>More Details |

jump ahead cd rom products are fantastic for my daughter. the triple pre school pack has taught her so much. and the progress report so i can check how well she is doing is very helpful. then i know where she needs some extra help from me. once your child can use the mouse, they will understand the cd roms. the packs use fun characters that the child can assoicate with, and there are special treats so encourage them to do well. there are 3 different skill levals, and plenty of different activites to help learn different skills. very helpful product for my child, highly recommended for 2-4 year olds. This is so much better than most of the other packages available for young children. No mouse clicks are required (although they can be used as your child's computer skills improve): just moving the mouse over an object produces the result within a couple of seconds, which our 3-year-old loves! The graphics and sounds/music are beautifully produced, and we all appreciate the absence of american voices.
