The graphics are good, the concept is good but the control method on PC is dreadful, for some reason Harry is onscreen anywhere apart from where you want him and he can be facing any direction so when you press the control keys you get unexpected movements, I wish they had made it classic 3rd person control so he is always facing forward, at least that way when you press the forward key he would go forward, add to that the fact that Ron and Hermione are with him 90% of the time and keep getting in the way which makes this game really frustrating. It is good that you can explore Hogwarts as much as you want but it would be better if you could use the map to jump to locations instead of having to run everywhere with the awful control system, you ... I recently bought this game to cheer myself up and boy did it do the trick. This game pleasantly suprised me with the quality of the graphics and although the game play is fun it lacks an air of difficulty. Republic commando allows you to control a team of 4 commandos during the clone wars and as another suprise doent contain jedis. You follow the back story line which is nice as it seems the game doesnt have to follow a srtict line to please fans, which gives it an air of mystery, which can only help its overall fun factor. All in all a good buy (special at the price i bought it for) that will entertain you for a while.

The last / final patch for this game was v1.02. This did not address the above listed problems with joysticks. Why make a flight sim if you cannot use a joystick beats me. Keyboard flying is just not the same.

Sonic's back and here to stay. Sonic Team vowed this would bring the series back to it's roots and has got pretty close to that. The speed is mind-blowing, better than before. The action isn't bad either, working in teams to defeat Robotnik's minions.
There are four teams: Team Sonic, Team Rose, Team Chaotix and Team Dark. There are three characters in each team, each with a different ability: speed, power and fly. Each character has plenty of different moves aswell. At first this is an odd experience. Yet soon you get used to it and swapping between characters and using different moves becomes second nature. A marvellous course for those who are a bit slow to learn, which I am due to long-term illness. Helpful exercises are given for one's own specific difficulties. No fancy gimmicks, no pushing to go fast. The accent is on accuracy without looking at the keyboard, speed will come naturally with practice. Assessments after each exercise are honest and helpful (even the suggestion that I should rest and come back when my brain was less tired on one occasion when I was feeling very tired and muddled)!
What a relief after struggling with another fancy, multicolour gimmicky CD for the past year with little success. This feed-back is all typed without looking at the keyboard, at level 8 after a relatively short time. I look forward to completing this course and trying other CD-ROMs ...
