Within minutes of completing the acoustic optimisation procedure after installation you will be surprised at how quickly and naturally you can speak and how accurate the voice recognition is. For me, it was about 98% accurate and much faster than typing.
Unfortunately, this was spoiled by a headset that pinches, even after being adjusted for size, and leaves you with a headache within fifteen minutes. This seemed more like a poorly designed product than a manufacturing error. The manual also states that the headset can be worn either way round. Although I did have some minor problems installing this product with a little bit of research I managed to resolve it.
This programme is highly capable and highly useful. It might take a little bit of getting used to as in the way you talk to it and it needing a limited amount of training. But the end result is surprisingly accurate. I am very impressed.
The biggest problem that I have is remembering to use the software as I tend to automatically go to the keyboard to type.
The other great aspect of this software is that you can use it anywhere that you would normally type. So in effect if you wanted you could almost never have to type another word again.

First off I want to clear up some confusion with MobileMe, The other reviews who give one star are just ridiculous...Yeah when MobileMe first came out (July 2008) it had a few problems, it wasn't best thought out by Apple but now in November 2008 it's services are completely 100% running with no faults! The services work fast and the 20gb of online storage (the iDisk) is great...no longer do i use my USB pen drive i simply go on any computer (PC or Mac) and connect straight onto my iDisk and Viola my files are all there! Also with the 20gb ou can upload all your Photos, Movies and Music straight from the iLife 08 suite....which comes free on all Macs...It's a FANTASTIC way to share all your content online with all your friends and family!
