I know this is an inexpensive product, so I wasn't expecting top of the line. The instructions, however, are not very helpful. I bought the product to make a will for both my husband and myself. I was very pleased wih the actual documents, they do just about what I wanted them to do. However, even though the instructions say that I can "save as," so that I can save two separate documents, this is not the case. What actually has to happen is that I have to export each document to my word processor, then start over in Will Maker if I have any changes to make. Quite clumsy, really.
However--in the end, it does what it says it does, the forms are good, and the price is right. >>More Details |

I have bought this CD, and it is almost useless. There is a stupid spelling mistake - in the choice of executor I can choose to have my "Bother" but not my "Brother" as an executor.
I cannot go to technical support as its not on the current list of programs. There is so little guidance, that I actually know more about creating a will without this program. I'd be better doing a search for "will" on the internet, and swapping my name for the one on screen. Part way through usage, I got a message tblFuneral:Dataset not in edit or insert mode. To get out of that I had to close the will I was creating. Focus Multimedia have stopped supporting it - they must have been embarassed to be accepting money for it. >>More Details |

I thought this would be OK as all I wanted to do was record the BBC. Sadly this software does not support iplayer. As you cannot return software, this purchase is just going in the BIN!

Box looks like it's a modern day product; it's not. Reminding me of a Win3.1 interface, it's a pain to use (no cut and paste) and rather unintuitive. Very inflexible, not catering for either/or scenarios. E.g if a beneficiary is dead say (like leave to wife or kids if wife's dead too). It does produce an appropriately unreadable will (due to legalese), but I'm not sure I trust my estate to it considering the flaws in the product. Poor interface seems to be a common flaw in will writing software, maybe one day someone will create a proper one. But then it is cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for. >>More Details |
