I can't praise this product enough. If you are looking to create state of the art websites with CSS, etc. then Dreamweaver is the software to own. All the hard coding is done for you well you use the design view to add anything you desire.
I have a lot to do to my sites yet but I managed to create and publish my very first webpage within 2 days of uploading the software to my computer. It downloaded on Windows Vista Home Premium within 10 minutes with no problems at all.
Just a tip for beginners, check out YouTube for Dreamweaver CS3 Tutorials. You will learn all the basics there and it beats any manual or book.

I purchased this product for my 14-year old Daughter to use for her ICT homework and GCSE-based coursework. The product may be good, but trying to obtain a Licence number to use the product after the 30-day trial is horrendous. Firstly, you have to complete their Form and upload this as an attachment to an email; secondly you have to provide proof that the Student is in education; and thirdly you have to provide a photo of the Student/Child. Filling out a Form is understandable, downlaoding and attaching to an email is easily done! However, surely Adobe realise that in the UK, all children of 16 & under (Year 11 and below) have to attend School - we the parents get prosecuted if they don't. But, no we still have to prove that they attend an ... Read More:

I was really happy with this software at first, having upgraded from Elements 2, and the results were really great. Then the glitches started to show. I worked on some images for ages, only to find that I couldn't save them or even close the program down. Convinced it was related to my old computer I bought a new one and guess what, all the glitches were still there. I'm going to have a go with Elements 5 before I abandon Adobe altogether. Stay tuned for my experiences with that.

I have not had any installation problems, and having bought this from the american site, got it at a reduced price over the UK one, which I agree is cheeky. Having said this, it is still a 5 star piece of software, and hands down the market leader, with all of the tools tat you could possibly need. As a creative professional I wish I knew how to use all of this software well, but I find myself with a great knowledge of the bits i use most, and only a shallow understanding of other packages. That said, these all interface seamlessly, and provide me with the outputs that i need to dazzle clients everyday, without fail. If you want the daddy of creative packages, this is the one to go for. My one word of advice is while you are here I would have a browse for ... Read More:
