Excellent product if you're having driving lessons intensive or weekly, and preparing for the theory and hazard perception test. The test questions and the overall format are close to the real thing, and the mock exams show you exactly what to expect on your theory and hazard perception test.
The hazard perception part is the same, with clips to practice, and the mock exams are just like the Driving Standards Agency test. I have done the mock exams and passed. This is So I can get a feel for the software the reason being that I am a driving instructor, so if I recommend a product to pupils I make sure that it good enough first.
The cd also contains the full Highway Code but a lot of people still prefer the paperback ... Read More:

I wanted this product mainly for the video tutorials and they were exactly what I was expecting, they are very simple to follow and also provide very clear instructions on how to perform each manoeuvre (much better than listening to your instructor). The printable Theory test book is almost pointless, why not just provide one in the box (its large enough).

A very good program, which I love using - but there are issues.
Minor fault
Some of the lower ranked 'opponants' on the program make some very strange moves - for example, sacrificing the Queen for no reason at all - when they are winning. This turns the game around immediately.
Major fault ......
The program sometimes calls a stalemate - (thus ending the game) when it is clearly not a stalemate. Quite often, this happens just as I'm about to call an extremely obvious checkmate.
Having said that, I would still recommend this program.

You have to live with an encyclopaedia for a year or two to really get a feel for it's worth, and as Britannica's got 74,000+ articles even then you just scratch the surface. Encyclopaedias were always traditionally bought when older kids were in the household, and kids are frequently still the main users. - provided it gives them what they want, and quickly. Encarta 2009 hasn't got anything like the depth in articles that Encyclopaedia Britannica Ultimate reference suite 2009 has, but Encarta still hits the spot for school-kids with better use of interactive content and more focus on things they might actually want to read about. Plus Britannica still throws up strange search results more often than Encarta, which can be rather off-putting to youngsters with ... Read More:

This is a great game for all those who love the Mahjong games. So many different layouts. The only negative is that the tiles don't have the numbers etc written on them. But hey, that makes it more challenging! You will enjoy it.

I bought this for my 9 year old, who had really enjoyed the Fantasy and Spooky Mansion games. She loved it, but played it to death in three sittings. It's really good fun, very good brain training for kids, but there isn't enough to it to get 5 stars.

For those people serious about improving their mental abilities, I would advise them to steer clear of this software. The exercises are not varied enough to offer great benefit and the performance measures have many shortcomings. To be honest, I don't think much research was done on the subject before this product was made.
Having said that, it's all right for a bit of fun and for the price, you can't complain too much.

The game would not load. There was extra instuctions about changing your virtual memory on your pc in order to play the game but to no avail. My PC is top notch and plays everything else available but it won't play this game! What the hell is a swap file anyway???
What is the point of making a game that won't play on decent spec computers? Unfortunately I have thrown away my amazon receipt, so I can't even send it back......probably.
I bought this for my 6 year old daughter to help improve her English and Math skills, and I can't praise this programme enough!
My daughter actually looks forward to playing the games and frequently comes up to me saying "Mummy, can I play Jump Ahead Year 2 now please?" with much enthusiasm. I thought it might be just a fad - like with all toys! But she really does enjoy it. I think its because the math games are challenging and she enjoys the excitement of the "theme" of the game, like jumping over crocodiles to get across a river.
I can tell you one thing, I wish I had something like this when I was little learning maths because it would have made the subject less scary. This actually makes maths look fun and because of the way learning ... Read More:
