As a new business start-up I spent some time researching my options before choosing to purchase this software. It had all the right messaging on the box about how easily I could create a website, the main tagline on the box says it "Everything you need to get the website you want online..... and it's seriously easy to use" - don't you just love the marketing people??
Well the box is where it starts and finishes for me - there are so many things wrong with this product that it's hard to know where to begin. Don't be fooled by the price tag, the software is cheap because it is very basic and it's all done online (something they don't tell you on the box). It's a fantastic product, but to make it work well and for your site to look and feel really good and a little bit individual, you have to know your way around the internet and computers in general. It's not totally user friendly if you are not used to working outside the Microsoft environment, although the whole thing is pretty intuitive to a relatively seasoned pc/mac user. I love it and think for the price, it's a must for a web presence for personal or not-for-profit orgs or those just setting up in biz. My only gripe is with the page shuffle feature - you have to mend broken links manually. (You can also use commercial web design software to make your website and then just upload to MrSite if you are really worried about losing a previous ... Read More:
