The Official DSA Guide to Hazard Perception (PC)from: TSO February 01, 2006 |

This is a perfect example of DSA using its status to sell a product that does not have the content to justify the price. Almost all of this supposedly interactive CD is merely the presenter explaining examples of hazards (information you will probably have read about in various other publications anyway) and showing you what to expect when you get to the test centre (which you will see on the free CD you are sent when you book your theory test). The 'interactive' part consists of only 10 hazard clips - which, bearing in mind that you can only practise with these once for them to be effective, is a measly amount. As the tittle says, if you want to pass your theory test this is all you need.
All the questions that can come up are on these discs What you need to do is complete a couple of mock theory tests and then run through each question of the revision on its own not by doing a test on the sections but by selecting revision and going through each questions. The ones you get wrong try and remember them and redo the section again and you should get 100%. Once you go for the test you will remember them and will pass well. This "complete learner driver pack" does exactly what it promises to do. Three books packed with information on how to pass your theory and practical tests are ideal for learner drivers and those who are teaching people to drive.
The theory test book gives every question that you could be asked in 2008/2009 and gives each with an answer and explanation conveniently located on the other side of the page. Whilst practice elsewhere is required to pass the hazard perception, this is what got me past the multiple choice part of the test. I bought this latest book to prepare my theory test, I studied the Highway Code first and then I did all the practices on the book. And I had full marks on my theory test, thanks to this book. The content is brilliant, however, I think the design is so so, they could do better.
If you want to pass your test, buy this book and of course you have to study hard, then you should have no problem at all. >>More Details |
