Built on the same architecture as XP, 2000 is basically just a more classic looking version. Though it's a few years out of date, new software will persist in being computable with it, and it's simplicity and administrative options are perfect as just a 'working' computer. It's very speedy and is not surprisingly still used in many, many Offices, libraries, and schools - all thanks to it's great networking solutions and slick performance.
We've had Vista and it just doesn't compare - Win 2K just works!

This software is marketed as being compatible with Vista. What they don't tell you is that it only works on Vista 32-bit NOT Vista 64-bit.
As soon as I tried to install the software, a popup informed me that it wasn't compatible with my operating system. This resulted in the installation being abandoned.
Since I only found this out after I removed the shrink wrap I'm not able to return the CD-ROM.
If you have Vista-64, Don't fall into the same trap as me and stay well clear of this product!

This product seems to have fundamental flaw in that like others I too have suddenly been victim to the defect that this product suddenly, without warning, decides your license has expired even though it has months and months left. When it works it works well but beware this piece of ???? It may suddenly refuse to work at all.

The services work fast and the 20gb of online storage (the iDisk) is great...no longer do i use my USB pen drive i simply go on any computer (PC or Mac) and connect straight onto my iDisk and Viola my files are all there! Also with the 20gb ou can upload all your Photos, Movies and Music straight from the iLife 08 suite....which comes free on all Macs...It's a FANTASTIC way to share all your content online with all your friends and family! Not only all ... Read More:
