A full page of all kinds of stuff (rubbish) but nowhere says what this software does. Amazons pages are getting over full of other things and forgetting about the item you are actually looking at. It would be nice to focus on the item you are looking at- put it at the top clear from the rubbish. Oh= and put a description of it too.

You really have to consider two distinct groups or users when rating ACT!. Sonic's back and here to stay. Sonic Team vowed this would bring the series back to it's roots and has got pretty close to that. The speed is mind-blowing, better than before. The action isn't bad either, working in teams to defeat Robotnik's minions.
There are four teams: Team Sonic, Team Rose, Team Chaotix and Team Dark. There are three characters in each team, each with a different ability: speed, power and fly. Having read the other reviews here and elsewhere I gave it a whirl.
My purchase was due to having installed windows a fresh due to some dual boot issues and I simply could not be bothered doing it all again. One 400GB hard drive to be divided, already running windows XP - Arconis installed quickly no problems, scanned the drives within 10 seconds, gave me automated options and upon chopping the disk into a 100gb system drive and a 300gb data drive I hit commit and it was done, reeboot required to complete the task and windows ran beautifully. Only critisism starts here. Once the major task was completed I could not get Arconis to go again without waiting 30 minutes for it to analyse the drives, but what the heck I'm happy and don't really ... I have 6 PCs one each running on 98 and 2000 and four on XP. In comparison, 98(rev B) is excellent and generally very stable but lacks some critical facilities e.g. the ability to view picture thumbnails. That said, the machine that it's on is in regular use as a word processor and does a grand job. 2000 is brilliant. Never falls over, has the ability to show thumbnails (albeit only one file at a time) and is not too hungry for resources. Let's pass over ME, that was pathetic and had more bugs than the natural history museum. The one machine that originally had ME was upgraded to XP (without any problems).

As a person who loves to "design", but cannot draw this software is ideal to create quick little logos, or be a little creative with the templates and much more that is supplied. The templates themselves are great and with a little effort you can see how they became devised, helping you in the future to do more yourself. Its simpler even than Microsoft Publisher!

Microsoft word 2000 is the best version of word because it works on windows versions 95 to XP and is good for typing and spelling checks.
