Although I did have some minor problems installing this product with a little bit of research I managed to resolve it.
This programme is highly capable and highly useful. It might take a little bit of getting used to as in the way you talk to it and it needing a limited amount of training. But the end result is surprisingly accurate. I am very impressed.
The biggest problem that I have is remembering to use the software as I tend to automatically go to the keyboard to type.
The other great aspect of this software is that you can use it anywhere that you would normally type. So in effect if you wanted you could almost never have to type another word again.

Wish I'd read the reviews before ordering this product. I agree with everyone else and can't add much to comments that have already been made (doesn't calculate VAT etc). Stay away from this version of Quickbooks.

Let it be clear: this is a great household package. It is great for producing letters, flyers, greeting cards etc. on the fly. But let it be clear also: this is no educational package, as it is lacking presentation software (powerpoint). If you have kids/students, opt for Office student licence, or the free OpenOffice.

A few months ago I bought a new laptop which came with Vista Home Premium pre-installed. I've now had the opportunity to compare Vista to my desktop PC's XP installation. In summary Vista doesn't make a compelling upgrade. Memory usage is considerably higher, the default User Account Control setup is so overbearing that I disabled it completely and from the perspective of the end user the new features seem to be mostly related to visual tarting up and transparency effects. These new features add nothing much to productivity. The frequency and volume of critical security patches to apply seems to continue as with XP. There are some useful features but most of these can be added to XP by using existing free applications. Not a worthwhile upgrade.

The graphics are good, the concept is good but the control method on PC is dreadful, for some reason Harry is onscreen anywhere apart from where you want him and he can be facing any direction so when you press the control keys you get unexpected movements, I wish they had made it classic 3rd person control so he is always facing forward, at least that way when you press the forward key he would go forward, add to that the fact that Ron and Hermione are with him 90% of the time and keep getting in the way which makes this game really frustrating. It is good that you can explore Hogwarts as much as you want but it would be better if you could use the map to jump to locations instead of having to run everywhere with the awful control system, you seem to have to cover a lot ... It's always sound commercial sense to shoot yourself in the foot by alientaing your core customers. I'm a self confessed early adopter, so I knew this would be a challenge but after many months I've given up and moved to Open Office!

As an antivirus software package- Norton is capable of doing the job you paid for it. It is a system that will defend the computers in your home and it is possible not to pull your hair out whilst installing it as I have done with previous antivirus software packages. But alas my friends, this will probably be the last antivirus you will buy due to microsoft announcing the end of their One care antivirus system and giving it free in 2009.
The penny drops - why buy antivirus software if there is an adequate replacement available for free.
Microsoft do have a habit of stuffing things up and getting products late to market but it does beg the question - why buy a product which you could be getting for free....
