I have just upgraded to Office 2007 but find myself still using 2003 Pro.
Why? It's just that good. The layout is by far the best out of all the office products, and the menu driven system allows you to create very professional work with little input. There are even templates and wizards to help you along the way. All the major office programs are here except FrontPage, which most people wouldn't use anyway, unless into web design. Overall, I have given it 5 stars as it is the best value for money as well as being a very complete office package. Recommended! >>More Details |

I really can't imagine what the other reviewer was doing to have so many problems. This O/S is rock solid for me.
There are some driver issues that should be investigated before proceeding, as not absolutely everything is supported. I am currently running 3 64bit O/S machines, one with Vista64 and one with Server 2003 64bit. The third,XP64 is quicker that Vista for the applications I use it for, and simpler to use than Server2003 for everything else. I can only imagine the other reviewer had an incompatible machine, or perhaps didn't take the time to do the correct driver installs and updates. >>More Details |

I do a lot of private research in many subject areas and this is the best product I have found for the price that allows you to collate information from many electronic sources.
In essence OneNote allows you to create a virtual filing cabinet with different draws into which you can place folders that have notes and sub-notes. The notes and sub-notes can contain virtually any data format including images, drawings, voice or text. During installation plug-ins are added to your Office products and Explorer enabling information to be imported to OneNote very easily and this makes research on the Web very efficient. I bought the OEM disc to use on my Intel Mac also. The disc worked perfectly with no problems. I simply registered the product online with none of the problems the previous poster mentioned. I think there may be a problem if you attempt a second installation using a program like Parallels of VM Fusion as you are technically trying to register the product for a second time and this causes alarm bells to ring at Microsoft. But if you simply want to install on Bootcamp, this product is highly recommended.

Oh dear. I was hopeful about this software - McAfee have a big name in the industry. But it seems to have failed.
I installed the product - it took 3 attempts and eventually it worked, and on the desktop was a big shiny M. It all worked absolutely fine, except that you could not open the Backup & Restore section, nor the Firewall Lockdown section. But, not to worry, because everything else worked. Then I switched it on the next day, and the first thing we noticed - it took 3 attempts to open it. Then there was a big red X saying that my computer wasn't protected. As a business user I don't really have anything good to say about Office 2007. The new interface now requires 3-4 mouse clicks where 2-3 were needed previously. Many of the keyboard shortcuts no longer work or don't work the way they used to (I don't use the mouse very often). It's not possible to customise the menu structure to any extent as Microsoft have imposed the "ribbon" structure with it's fixed content.
Many of the highlight colours just don't stand out e.g. highlighting text is pink on a white background but highlighted buttons are a sort of yellow colour. There are also only 3 colour schemes available, blue, silver or black. None is particularly attractive and none is particularly clear. Differentiating between several windows ...
