This is a fantastic game, a real classic not to be missed, IF you can get it to run.I bought this game a few years ago and it ran perfectly on my XP machine then possessed, but loads and runs with the sound only and a black screen on my present XP machine which replaced the former.All attempts to get it to run by implementing advice given on forums have failed, it seems it is a common problem. I have had to resort to buying the original Myst (not Masterpiece edition)also available on Amazon to continue playing this game.The game needs to be run on Windows 95 or 98 I know, but something else needs to be done in my case and I don,t know what.

This is the first time I am using Photoplus. I am a Photoshop man and I've been using CS2 for awhile now. After the installation which was as straghtforward as it gets. The first thing that strikes you is that the layout is similar to photoshop. So, if you are familiar with Photoshop then this package will be a comfort.
When it comes to features it has the ability for layer masks, whereby you can make changes to layers and it isn't deleted, great for graphic design etc. You can even record your actions as macros, which is a boon when you applying to bulk set of images. For those not in the design field but with publishing needs (that don't want to fork out to a printing company) then PagePlus is just about all you need. Serif have included enough features that push the software a lot further than a simple layout programme.
The software has thousands of templates and logos for those that don't wish to have a completely original design. PagePlus' templates are of a good quality and require little work to bring them up to a professional standard. For those that want to customise PagePlus x3 comes with a few features of interest. I recently bought this game to cheer myself up and boy did it do the trick. This game pleasantly suprised me with the quality of the graphics and although the game play is fun it lacks an air of difficulty. Republic commando allows you to control a team of 4 commandos during the clone wars and as another suprise doent contain jedis. You follow the back story line which is nice as it seems the game doesnt have to follow a srtict line to please fans, which gives it an air of mystery, which can only help its overall fun factor. All in all a good buy (special at the price i bought it for) that will entertain you for a while.

Having been a Flash user for years I was wanting some software that would make character animation faster and more intuitive, and allow me to export the results for use in Flash should I so wish.
Anime Studio 5 makes animating characters so much faster, it exports to SWF and these play fine in the Flash player. Flash developers need to know this however - What I really wanted to do was import SWFs generated by Anime Studio into Flash to use in interactive work. My first attempt at import was not perfect. The import process was without errors, but the results viewed in Flash MX 2004 showed some objects with missing fills. Bought this for my grandchildren and they love it. The sticker Book is a big incentive and keeps them at it. The seven year old was struggling at school and working through the maths and English, with some help, gave him a lot of confidence. The younger two join in, and also do the lower level, and it becomes a joint exercise. All good stuff.

A great game that kept me amused for months. I eventually completed the Space level, but it took a lot of hard work! I still return to the game when I have a few spare minutes. Highly recommended.
