I bought this latest book to prepare my theory test, I studied the Highway Code first and then I did all the practices on the book. And I had full marks on my theory test, thanks to this book. The content is brilliant, however, I think the design is so so, they could do better.
If you want to pass your test, buy this book and of course you have to study hard, then you should have no problem at all.

I'm not quite 17 yet, but I bought this disk a few months ago in the hope that it would help - and it has! It has made me confident for when I start to learn to drive and for my theory test... would recommend it for anyone learning to drive!

I bought this for my 6 year old daughter to help improve her English and Math skills, and I can't praise this programme enough!
My daughter actually looks forward to playing the games and frequently comes up to me saying "Mummy, can I play Jump Ahead Year 2 now please?" with much enthusiasm. I thought it might be just a fad - like with all toys! But she really does enjoy it. I think its because the math games are challenging and she enjoys the excitement of the "theme" of the game, like jumping over crocodiles to get across a river.
I can tell you one thing, I wish I had something like this when I was little learning maths because it would have made the subject less scary. This actually makes maths look fun and because ... Read More:

bought this for my husband, proved to be an excellent tool to learn enough to pass the exam 93%. Some questions in exam not covered in content so common-sense still required. Don't bother with the hazards CD, better examples exist on the internet!

I used Version 8 on Windows 95 to teach myself to type in the late 90s.
Then I thought it was great. It was a big help.
This version I expected to be more polished. Perhaps more scientific in it's approach; though really it hasn't changed much. Still good.
Purchased for my neice, installation hung on her XP machine during install/registration. Ctrl+Alt+Delete showed registration and installation to behave as two seperate applications. Killed registration and the installation proceeded.
The first thing I noticed was that the interface didn't scale well to a widescreen resolution of 1680 x 1050 some jumbled text in the options dialogue.
The graphics are good, the concept is good but the control method on PC is dreadful, for some reason Harry is onscreen anywhere apart from where you want him and he can be facing any direction so when you press the control keys you get unexpected movements, I wish they had made it classic 3rd person control so he is always facing forward, at least that way when you press the forward key he would go forward, add to that the fact that Ron and Hermione are with him 90% of the time and keep getting in the way which makes this game really frustrating. It is good that you can explore Hogwarts as much as you want but it would be better if you could use the map to jump to locations instead of having to run everywhere with the awful control system, you seem to have ... I bought this DVD as my partner had a previous version last year, and he passed the test. So I bought this one again but with a latest version.
But I am not really happy with it, the picture is not clear at all, for example, I cannot see the car's breaking lights or indictor, so of course I cannot respond as quickly as I can. It was really depressing for me, and I thought it was my own problem....
My kids (aged 5 and 8) have loved this software. The 8 year old has spent hours making the cartoon stories, whereas the 5 year old has had great fun with the painting and collage sections. I have also enjoyed exploring it with them. I have had no problems at all with the printing. Well worth the money!

We bought this for our 5 year old daughter who absolutely loves it. There is a lot to do, easy to follow instructions, fun learning, great games and much more. In fact she is now 6 and still plays and we are about to buy her the Year 2 CD. Highly recommended
