The last / final patch for this game was v1.02. This did not address the above listed problems with joysticks. Why make a flight sim if you cannot use a joystick beats me. Keyboard flying is just not the same.
Don't waste your money. Get someting else instead.

The system works well - until you try to use it. I've had it suddenly stop recognising its GPS receiver almost every time I need it in earnest. And when it DOES see the receiver, the program crashes 200 metres down the highway - infuriating!
The GPS is found by the Device Manager, and talks to other software, but often A/R can't find it. This can be disastrous when a complex trip is meticulously planned and you find you suddenly have a map but no navigator.
If all the curses I have laid on this horrible system were to take effect, Microsoft would vanish in a greasy puff of sulphur.
Do not buy Spy Sweeper 2008. It does not find and remove a lot of the dangerous spyware out there. The writers of the spyware and trojans are years ahead of this useless lot. Use Spybot, its free and a lot more effective.

I was wary of this purchase when it had no reviews and those of other Roxio DVD convert/copy/create products are consistently appalling (see the Easy Media Creator Suites and Easy CD/DVD Burning packages reviewed on Amazon), but I took a chance. I'll grant one star as it has managed to convert some home videos to a format I can load onto my iPod, although I've read there are various legitimate programmes that can be downloaded for free to do the same.
But I have now tried to burn a DVD from some of my home clips--nothing complicated, just various very short simple clips with no fancy features or editing, and every single time, it stalls at 9% of the 'creating DVD' job, no matter what (and renders the DVD unusable despite writing nothing to it ... Unlike previous "upgrades" to Excel, this is a leap into a very different user interface. Previous Excel experts may find themselves spending whole minutes trying to locate features they previously knew by shortcut, and aggrevated by the ribbon bar which flicks about unexpectedly when your finger accidentally slips onto your scroll wheel, but all in all it's worth it.
Previously Excel was limited to a mere 256 columns, and many options such as Conditional Formatting etc. were limited to 3 rules. These have all been vastly expanded, turning it into an even more powerful piece of software. Developer options are interesting, and the visual quality of spreadsheets is much enhanced with gradients and one-click object effects.
I have long used free anti-spyware software but always wanted a copy of Spyware doctor as it is always used as the reference by which others are judged.
This version of Spyware doctor also has anti-spyware so I was excited to try it.
Once installed (very easy), I let it run which took over two hours. It detected several hundred items which the free software I had been using had missed. I do not know if these were serious threats but I let the software delete them anyway.
The software has an Intelliguard mode which protects your PC in real time. The software did not slow my system down as far as I could tell.
When browsing the internet, several messages kept appearing to warn me of potentia threats. The software is very ... Read More:

A few months ago I bought a new laptop which came with Vista Home Premium pre-installed. I've now had the opportunity to compare Vista to my desktop PC's XP installation. In summary Vista doesn't make a compelling upgrade. Memory usage is considerably higher, the default User Account Control setup is so overbearing that I disabled it completely and from the perspective of the end user the new features seem to be mostly related to visual tarting up and transparency effects. These new features add nothing much to productivity. The frequency and volume of critical security patches to apply seems to continue as with XP. There are some useful features but most of these can be added to XP by using existing free applications. Not a worthwhile upgrade.

What an expensive piece of junk. OCR on PDFs is poor (lots of text missing)and when it saves files in RTF or Word, they can't be opened in RTF or Word!
If only you could get a refund on software which is this bad.
