Being a creative (and gemini) type, I've accepted just about every type of college and university course going. Luckily I've settled down into Popular Music Studies, but I've needed various pieces of software for both work projects and uni documents. One of them was Photoshop; a program I was practically made to Marry for 2 years if I wanted to complete my Graphics Art course. It was CS2 I used back then on the iMac's, so naturally, I was worried if all my knowledge would be lost on the new CS4.

I have just upgraded to Office 2007 but find myself still using 2003 Pro.
Why? It's just that good. The layout is by far the best out of all the office products, and the menu driven system allows you to create very professional work with little input. There are even templates and wizards to help you along the way. All the major office programs are here except FrontPage, which most people wouldn't use anyway, unless into web design. Overall, I have given it 5 stars as it is the best value for money as well as being a very complete office package. Recommended! >>More Details |

I really can't imagine what the other reviewer was doing to have so many problems. This O/S is rock solid for me.
There are some driver issues that should be investigated before proceeding, as not absolutely everything is supported. I am currently running 3 64bit O/S machines, one with Vista64 and one with Server 2003 64bit. The third,XP64 is quicker that Vista for the applications I use it for, and simpler to use than Server2003 for everything else. I can only imagine the other reviewer had an incompatible machine, or perhaps didn't take the time to do the correct driver installs and updates. >>More Details |

We bought this for my daughters to use, and it does everything they need it to, and they find it easy to use. They have the same version at school and it is absolutely great for composing, arranging etc - they haven't yet had anything they needed to do and couldn't.

In essence OneNote allows you to create a virtual filing cabinet with different draws into which you can place folders that have notes and sub-notes. The notes and sub-notes can contain virtually any data format including images, drawings, voice or text. During installation plug-ins are added to your Office products and Explorer enabling information to be imported to OneNote very easily and this makes research on the Web very efficient. I bought the OEM disc to use on my Intel Mac also. The disc worked perfectly with no problems. I simply registered the product online with none of the problems the previous poster mentioned. I think there may be a problem if you attempt a second installation using a program like Parallels of VM Fusion as you are technically trying to register the product for a second time and this causes alarm bells to ring at Microsoft. But if you simply want to install on Bootcamp, this product is highly recommended.
