Have just loaded MS Office 2007 pack into my PC (XP system) and am very impressed with the new Word 2007 & Excel 2007 layouts. Unfortunately, I also tried to load the software into my wife's laptop (Vista operating system) but Vista doesn't like it - everytime she clicks on the Word 2007 icon the software starts installing itself all over again. Vista is really pretty awful - where's that nice button on Control Panel which says 'Install New Programs' - seems to have disappeared in Vista.

Had great difficulty loading this program and had to remove 2 updates to windows XP and revert to Adobe 8 before it would load. Works OK then albeit a bit clunky. Reloaded newer versions of Adobe etc and it still works.

I have used an earlier version of this at work for when people bring their laptops in complaining that they are running slowly.
Used in conjunction with a few other cleanup/maintenance tools..it does a very good job. This new version is more impressive and has other features not found in the previous trial version I used..optimising and tune up functions which also seem to improve performance. This version will also monitor your registry for changes...which can be both helpful and sometimes an inconvenience wuth pop up messages which you have to clear. >>More Details |

A few months ago I bought a new laptop which came with Vista Home Premium pre-installed. I've now had the opportunity to compare Vista to my desktop PC's XP installation. In summary Vista doesn't make a compelling upgrade. Memory usage is considerably higher, the default User Account Control setup is so overbearing that I disabled it completely and from the perspective of the end user the new features seem to be mostly related to visual tarting up and transparency effects. These new features add nothing much to productivity. The frequency and volume of critical security patches to apply seems to continue as with XP. There are some useful features but most of these can be added to XP by using existing free applications. Not a worthwhile upgrade.

The first thing that struck me about this package was the load time.
Generally..you want to just click an application and get on with the job in hand. yes..it has lots of features..but as another reviewer pointed out..most of these apps are available elsewhere..and are probably easier to get to and quicker to load. The Media centre app is really just a version of google picasa..which is free...the roxio version is sluggish I would say. So.. I think you'll get the gist of it's other short comings from the other reviews posted. From my point of view it's just too much stuff in one suite of apps..it tries to be everything for everyone ..but lets itself down with the speed of loading up ...I found the wait too frustrating. I bought the new Dance Ejay 7, couldnt wait to start using this software as i am familiar with ejay and have always liked their products, BUT, it is not supported on laptops. The other ones use to work fine on my laptop,but, the new ejay 7 doesnt want to work with my vista laptop, So, before you buy ejay 7 make sure if you are using a laptop, it will be supported.

I bought this for my daughters 4 th birthday. On level 1 it is ideal for her she can work out what to do on each screen and can be left to learn on her own. It is easy to move around the different sections, 8 i believe, and then has varoius games within each section. There are two more levels for her to move onto and level 3 kept my fairly clever nearly 7 years old amused too.

My laptop graphics drivers were corrupted once I installed this software. I recommend that you DO NOT install this software. I have Vista and the software support site recommends installation of Vista Service Pack 1. The app only ran for about 10 seconds and then the screen went black. Once I logged in safe mode and completed a system restore my laptop is now working. I'm sending this software back.
