Amazing, you feel in the game, it's got OK graphics, you can change your views so you feel like the driver. The cool lego brick world, you can totally blow up!
But, as soon as Lego Racers 2 came out, I've compared the two, and Lego Racers 2 is 101 times worse than the original! Buy this cheap game, but only buy no. 2 if you want to put the gamer off LR. Hopes this helps

I have just upgraded to Office 2007 but find myself still using 2003 Pro.
Why? It's just that good. The layout is by far the best out of all the office products, and the menu driven system allows you to create very professional work with little input. There are even templates and wizards to help you along the way. All the major office programs are here except FrontPage, which most people wouldn't use anyway, unless into web design.
Overall, I have given it 5 stars as it is the best value for money as well as being a very complete office package.
I really can't imagine what the other reviewer was doing to have so many problems. This O/S is rock solid for me.
There are some driver issues that should be investigated before proceeding, as not absolutely everything is supported.
I am currently running 3 64bit O/S machines, one with Vista64 and one with Server 2003 64bit. The third,XP64 is quicker that Vista for the applications I use it for, and simpler to use than Server2003 for everything else.
I can only imagine the other reviewer had an incompatible machine, or perhaps didn't take the time to do the correct driver installs and updates.

We bought this for my daughters to use, and it does everything they need it to, and they find it easy to use. They have the same version at school and it is absolutely great for composing, arranging etc - they haven't yet had anything they needed to do and couldn't.

I do a lot of private research in many subject areas and this is the best product I have found for the price that allows you to collate information from many electronic sources.
In essence OneNote allows you to create a virtual filing cabinet with different draws into which you can place folders that have notes and sub-notes. The notes and sub-notes can contain virtually any data format including images, drawings, voice or text. During installation plug-ins are added to your Office products and Explorer enabling information to be imported to OneNote very easily and this makes research on the Web very efficient.
Non MS applications 'see' OneNote as an installed printer so any file that can be printed can be sent to OneNote. ... Read More:

Now I'm no musician in fact I can't play a note and I have a singing voice like a cat being strangled. Despite these obvious shortcomings, back in the 80's some mates and I formed a band. None of us could sing, one could play guitar and one the keyboard with 1 finger. We recorded 2 albums of songs to amuse ourselves and our mates.
Now 20 odd years later we're all pushing 40 and 2 of us reformed the band, the two of us that couldn't play a note. So I bought this program and the Sound Essentials 6 pack and the 2 of us sat down to write some songs. And its a piece of cake. Thousands of different backing tracks are possible in all sorts of styles. We've already done a Reggae number, Hip Hop and a Bluesy Rock type one.
Wanting to update the excellent COD 9th edition cd-rom, I purchased the COED 11th edition. However, I have a sight problem, and updating has proved to be a mistake because I find the text on the 11th edition too thin and 'spidery', even with the larger font of the two size settings. Unless you have good eyesight, do try and view the 11th. Meanwhile, for the present, I continue to use the visually superior 9th .....

This clipart collection seems to largely comprise cartoony images and web buttons. These may be fine for school projects and informal newsletters but it is not really suitable for business presentations.

I bought this software for my daughter who is very computer literate for her age. She happily worked her way through all of the Jump Ahead Year 1 series from Focus Multimedia Ltd and thoroughly enjoyed them. More importantly, she clearly learned a lot too.
Perhaps it was because I was expecting the same level of engagement and explanation from Play and Learn: Science Experiments that I felt a little disappointed. The experiments simply aren't that engaging. Sure, they look good, but they don't actually explain very much.
Worse, they are often fiddly where one small mistake forces the child to start again from scratch, e.g. the very small drop area when positioning the cars on the first experiment: If you miss, the car falls off the bottom ... Read More:
