Sorry to be negative but just what has happened to Nero? I heartily endorse the poor reviews previously given.
To be perfectly honest, if all you want to do is rip CD's and make copies, then use Windows Media Player, or buy a OEM basic Nero 8 disc for about £1 from any computer shop. If you want to rip and copy DVD's then go to Download.Com and get DVD Shrink and CD BurnerXP for free! It's dead simple, gives you good copies, but minus all the flashing lights, whistles and bells that Nero want you to pay £30/£40 for.
In fact, there's not much software worth paying good money for these days, believe me.
This is a first rate package for developing photoshows and doing other things - it is intuitive and therefore easy to use and the consequent results are really professional. The only negative is that initially it takes an age to load on to your PC but given that you only do this once it's hardly worth griping about. Highly recommended (the Ultimate version has enhanced capability around HD etc.)

After years of my grumbling about Microsoft Windows operating systems, the hand of fate intervened and my laptop's hard drive and motherboard simultaneously failed, giving me the perfect excuse to go out and buy a new Apple iMac, a machine that can run Mac OS X 10.5 and Windows alongside each other, very useful to avoid wasting my investment in Windows software over the years. Not wishing to install Vista, I instead chose to purchase the Windows XP OEM Home Edition SP3 from Amazon for a very reasonable £65.17, which arrived within 2 days with the usual Amazon efficiency.
Using the Mac OS X Boot Camp application to install my new software, I was up and running in Windows XP in less than 30 minutes, connected wirelessly to my Netgear DG834G router ... Read More:

Paint Shop Pro came to my attention after receiving the latest version of TurboCAD v15 Pro which I use extensively for work purposes, the idea being to import drawings for production into finished presentable artwork. I decided to try the programme out first with Corel's free monthly trial and I'm glad I did - I found the programme to be annoying from the start. The first thing to happen was a long wait on start-up whilst it 'raided' all my photo files and converted them to run in PSP. OK, so perhaps that is to be expected. BUT-
I deal daily with customers who I visit and need to show them information from my laptop, including photos of equipment. Having waited for the computer to load up initially, on selection of a photo I them had to wait further for the PSP ... Read More:

Within minutes of completing the acoustic optimisation procedure after installation you will be surprised at how quickly and naturally you can speak and how accurate the voice recognition is. For me, it was about 98% accurate and much faster than typing.
Unfortunately, this was spoiled by a headset that pinches, even after being adjusted for size, and leaves you with a headache within fifteen minutes. This seemed more like a poorly designed product than a manufacturing error. The manual also states that the headset can be worn either way round. However, the earpiece is obviously designed to be worn over the left ear and is much less comfortable over the right. This is inconvenient if your computer is on your right. I don't know whether all the Standard editions are ... Read More:

As a new business start-up I spent some time researching my options before choosing to purchase this software. It had all the right messaging on the box about how easily I could create a website, the main tagline on the box says it "Everything you need to get the website you want online..... and it's seriously easy to use" - don't you just love the marketing people??
Well the box is where it starts and finishes for me - there are so many things wrong with this product that it's hard to know where to begin.
Don't be fooled by the price tag, the software is cheap because it is very basic and it's all done online (something they don't tell you on the box). You see Mr Site is not even an application you can install on your notebook or desktop - in order ... Read More:

I was fortunate enough to be lent this DVD and in conjunction with the Theory CD passed my theory test first time around. That said, I am learning to ride a motorcycle as an experienced driver. The DVD progressively explains Hazards with a gradual emphasis on differentiating static hazards from Developing ones (ie ones which absolutely force a driver/rider to change speed or direction). This much is fairly obvious. I think to fully grasp the material it is worthwhile viewing 3 or 4 times to pick up on the subtleties and in spite of the narrators explaining that there is no benefit in resitting the example tests, I think it all reinforces the learning process so I would disagree.
However the major failing is not so much the lack of explanation of what a Developing Hazard ... Read More:

This product does work and gives a lot of satisfaction to find that you are able to transfer those precious VHS tapes to DVD before they fade away or VHS recorders finally become museum pieces! My only niggles (my non-techie ability): Installing the software on Vista was confusing. The on-screen instructions did not match what the handbook said should happen. However, Vista sorted it out unaided. The editing software is more than enough in it's power and facilities for me but, again, needs patience and experimentation to get the hang of it. These are minor niggles - it works but only if you have a PC that equals or exceeds the minimum requirements for operation. After you have transferred all those tapes to DVD it seems that the product is still very useful for other facilities. The time ... Read More:

This "complete learner driver pack" does exactly what it promises to do. Three books packed with information on how to pass your theory and practical tests are ideal for learner drivers and those who are teaching people to drive.
The theory test book gives every question that you could be asked in 2008/2009 and gives each with an answer and explanation conveniently located on the other side of the page. Whilst practice elsewhere is required to pass the hazard perception, this is what got me past the multiple choice part of the test. The full highway code is also provided as a appendix for any other questions.
The other two books are also part of the DSA series on teaching people how to drive. The first presents itself as a log book helping you to get up to the "L5" ... Read More:
