I'm impressed with this software package. The editing capability is straight-forward to use. The pre-sets that can be applied, are extremely useful and really spot on in my opinion. The menu layouts seem appropriate and logical; the learning curve to get into the software is around an hour I thought. Great value considering the benefits and the overall value of the package. Worth considering if it is on a short-list and cost is a factor, anyone making the purchase really will not be disappointed. Recommended.

Having taken a great deal of camcorder footage on a recent touring holiday in Canada, I turned to my long owned(but little used)Pinnacle Studio 9 editing package. After some initial difficulty,I eventually captured the project into the software. That's when the problems started!
It took many,many attempts to edit the first hour of video because of repeated hangups/crashes, which meant computer restarts each time. However,after sheer dogged determination, and taking each editing process very slowly, I achieved the desired edit and moved on to the movie capture stage to start the process of transfer to DVD. For those people serious about improving their mental abilities, I would advise them to steer clear of this software. The exercises are not varied enough to offer great benefit and the performance measures have many shortcomings. To be honest, I don't think much research was done on the subject before this product was made.
Having said that, it's all right for a bit of fun and for the price, you can't complain too much. >>More Details |

I got this software to day from Amazon on there one day delivery,and it really is one day thank you very much.
So the product,I honestly have no complaints about this product.I run Windows Vista,no problem with this at all,as it is the UK edition,if you have Vista get this product .. It does everything it says on the box,as far as I am concerned this is a no. 1. Dont be worried about buying this product,it is without doubt amongest the cream of greeting card software. Although I did have some minor problems installing this product with a little bit of research I managed to resolve it.
This programme is highly capable and highly useful. It might take a little bit of getting used to as in the way you talk to it and it needing a limited amount of training. But the end result is surprisingly accurate. I am very impressed. The biggest problem that I have is remembering to use the software as I tend to automatically go to the keyboard to type. The other great aspect of this software is that you can use it anywhere that you would normally type. I bought this software specifically to create a family website that we can all access, load photos onto and generally keep in touch with each other.
The construction and layout of the pagees really couldn't be any easier - there's no need to learn html for a start, as the software does all the coding for you. If you have familiarity with Word or other word processing packages, the main pages will look very familiar to you; all it takes is practise... I had a rudimentary and basic site ready in a couple of hours. It still needs some tidying up in terms of presentation, but I'm more than happy with the results so far. I bought this for my 6 year old daughter to help improve her English and Math skills, and I can't praise this programme enough!
My daughter actually looks forward to playing the games and frequently comes up to me saying "Mummy, can I play Jump Ahead Year 2 now please?" with much enthusiasm. I thought it might be just a fad - like with all toys! But she really does enjoy it. I think its because the math games are challenging and she enjoys the excitement of the "theme" of the game, like jumping over crocodiles to get across a river. I can tell you one thing, I wish I had something like this when I was little learning maths because it would have made the subject less scary.
