I have used this for a couple of years now and rely on it for all my photo needs. It is truly a fantastic program. The cataloguing function enables you to find any photo within seconds. I have approx 16,000 photos in my computer and this program has them all tagged for instant retrieval. The editing functions enable you to do pretty much anything and would be all you could want unless you are a professional. Its worth getting a book to help with the more advanced functions if you want to experiment.

This is a point and click adventure. Number 19 in the Nancy Drew series by Her Interactive. It's target audience is primarily young females. There is no violence and no cussing in the game. It is clean.
The controls worked well, it's all mouse-driven.
The story is the weakest part of the game. Nancy flies over to Ireland, drives a hire car to the Castle then proceeds to solve the mystery on the same night! There are other improbables, but it's impossible to mention them without giving away spoilers.
The puzzles were not all well integrated into the story. Mostly doable, some were difficult at least at the senior level. I liked the sheep (fun) and the flying (unusual). Mini games (to earn money) are doll positioning, ... Read More:

I've waited long for the ability to edit AVCHD with Premier, having used the earlier DV versions with success. I have upgraded my PC (Quad 2.8GhZ - 4Gb RAM - 9800GT - Vista HP SP1) but I have to be very patient.
It tends to crash if I move clips quickly or click the next action before the last has been executed. Premier 'not responding' is an all to familiar line in task manager
Having said that, my previous experience with Premier, at this stage, is similar and as I became more familiar with the earlier suites, crashes did, in the past, reduce.
I've yet to make a BluRay DVD but the outlook is promising.
The booklet and help are very poor. If I had no experience I would be really in trouble trying to carry ... Read More:

Whatever bugs they had in Lightroom 2, they seem to have fixed in the 2.1 patch.
I've been using the free 2.1 trial for a month and it's a joy to use, so much so that after writing this review I'm off to order the full copy by post from Amazon, because the digital download from Adobe is £40 more expensive !
I can't see that much difference from version 1, but there again I haven't gone through all the video tutorials that Adobe have up on their site.
For a digital SLR user, I just can't do without it, it's that good.

Wish I'd read the reviews before ordering this product. I agree with everyone else and can't add much to comments that have already been made (doesn't calculate VAT etc). Stay away from this version of Quickbooks.

Let it be clear: this is a great household package. It is great for producing letters, flyers, greeting cards etc. on the fly. But let it be clear also: this is no educational package, as it is lacking presentation software (powerpoint). If you have kids/students, opt for Office student licence, or the free OpenOffice.

bought this for my husband, proved to be an excellent tool to learn enough to pass the exam 93%. Some questions in exam not covered in content so common-sense still required. Don't bother with the hazards CD, better examples exist on the internet!

A few months ago I bought a new laptop which came with Vista Home Premium pre-installed. I've now had the opportunity to compare Vista to my desktop PC's XP installation. In summary Vista doesn't make a compelling upgrade. Memory usage is considerably higher, the default User Account Control setup is so overbearing that I disabled it completely and from the perspective of the end user the new features seem to be mostly related to visual tarting up and transparency effects. These new features add nothing much to productivity. The frequency and volume of critical security patches to apply seems to continue as with XP. There are some useful features but most of these can be added to XP by using existing free applications. Not a worthwhile upgrade.
