This product is great for existing users of flash. It adds a whole host of new features and extends the appeal of the program into new markets such as 3D. However, I fear that for people who have never used the program, this release could have made the already steep learning curve even bigger. Flash is so different to any other products available that it takes around 6-12 months minimum usage to become acquainted with it, and that was before they added all these new features! I'd recommend that if you're a new user of flash, to check out versions 5 or CS3 which may be easier to pick up, I'd also look into purchasing some video training to speed up the learning process.
