I purchased this from Amazon, having previously purchased the McAfee Internet Security Suite (which I would rate as 5 stars based on my own experience), mainly because of the number of adverse reviews for McAfee ISS 2007. Wish I hadn't heeded these reviews and remained loyal to the McAfee ISS, as this software is not as good, slows my machine down much more and interferes with the functioning of other key software loading on start-up, requiring me to manage the start-up procedure manually rather than relying on the auto start-up. I also needed to contact the HP helpline as it identified files as PUPs which were part of my computer's basic software [thankfully HP were very helpful in resolving this problem]. I will not be updating this next ... Read More:

The product is good and easy to install and use. It seems to take minimal resources and quietly runs in the background unlike some other internet security packages I have tried.
The main problem when using it was the pop-up blocker. If it blocks a pop-up window on a form based page, you get the option of allowing the pop-up. However, when you click this, it reloads the initial page, and all previously input form data is lost. This was very frustrating and I eventually had to switch the pop-up blocker off.
However, the main reason why I wouldn't buy it again is the limited validity of the 3 licences. All three licences have to be activated within 30 days of the first install. If not, their validity is automatically started ... Read More:

I upgrade my NORTON INTERNET SECURITY 2007 to 2008 following their on-line recomendation.
After that, my computer CRASHED. Apparently it is something with the file named SYMFW.SYS of the Norton Internet Security.
I tried to get in touch with Norton, through e-mail and phone.
No answers.
Now I not able even to uninstall the program. A complete Mess!
Do not use it, the windows Restore was not helpful either!
I am still waiting to hear from Norton a hint of a solution.

Although this product worked very well on OS X 10.3, AutoProtect does not work on OS X 10.4 (Tiger) and Norton have yet to release a European edition of Norton Antivirus 10, which will address the compatability issue (as at 20 June 2005).

I've been a Panda user for several years now, and after all that time it's still the antivirus I keep going back to.
Like most anti-virus programs some are bound to conflict with certain software or hardware configurations, but after about 7 years and 5 computers I've still not had that happen to me as yet.
It works quietly in the background, has a simple installation, a reasonably well designed user interface suited to basic and advanced users alike, gets daily virus updates uses very little in the way of computer resources, doesn't have any major impact on load times (booting up the computer does take slightly longer) it covers pretty much everything you could want from an antivirus. It also cleans infected files without you having ... Read More:

I have used Onspeed fron soon after its creation. Over the years, performance has been variable. Downloads/streams not accelerated. This I accept. Depending upon selection, images, and similar, are variously degraded (and difficult to recover at higher resolution later).
Recently, it has been noted that links are continually being dropped and reinstated (Windows Defender is for ever sending popups). This slows any Internet work. Also, and again recently (they have just screwed another years subs out of my wallet!), the question of downloads.
My downloads are radio-streams; nothing demanding (dial-up, 36k average bps). Great problems. On its own, my ISP variable on bandwidth. It starts very well (32-45kbs), then declines with ... Read More:
