I have just installed this version which is Family Tree Maker 2006 (v13.0.285) and has loaded in our family tree from the 2005 version. As such, it represents excellent value for money, especially if you want to upgrade but not to the entirely new 2008 version. The carton says it will run under Vista with a download from the GSP site.
It comes with two discs, one with the program and the other with video clips and family trees of celebrities featured in the first three series. >>More Details |

I bought this for my 9 year old, who had really enjoyed the Fantasy and Spooky Mansion games. She loved it, but played it to death in three sittings. It's really good fun, very good brain training for kids, but there isn't enough to it to get 5 stars.

Power Director 7 Ultra is a comprehensive software tool that will give you lots of options to edit your video/images into a really good looking DVD. I used to use Nero Express for several years to make amateur DVD's including my wedding and honeymoon. However this software has far more customization options from effects, making menus, visual effects, transition effects and sound. You need to ensure that you're system is fast enough to use it to it's full effect though otherwise it runs really slowly.

Sadly I found this product to be a waste of money. Apart from being twice the price of other applications of its sort it suffers from having one of the most frustrating and illogical flaws I have ever come across - it will not allow you to name your master files when imported from a camera.
This is the same flaw that exists with iPhoto too. Both programmes will let you call your files whatever you want - and in Aperture there are, as you'd expect, more way of doing it than in iPhoto. However, as soon as you drag or copy/paste a photo file OUT of the programme you will see that it has kept its original camera assigned numeric filename. Why oh why? Why does this particular version of Rome Total War have bugs? No other version i have tried has bugs that appear here. Just a few, here and there, on the battle map and the campaign map as well. Blank video clips, stuck mice and cameras. Really, ther is no need for this. The game is largely untouched and thank goodness for that but the bugs are not acceptable. As there are other versions of this game available withut bugs (such as eras), there is no reason to buy this bugged one. RTW rates 10/10 This version rates 8/10

In a time where you can start creating websites from within the browser using Google Applications, and where powerful, full Content Management Systems are available as open source, this comes across as very much a 20th Century web development package, rather than a 21st century one.
Where's the Map Mashup creation? Where's the funky gallery creation? Where's the versioning? Content Approvals? Publishing Dates? Decent shopping cart (theirs is at best poor? Have just loaded MS Office 2007 pack into my PC (XP system) and am very impressed with the new Word 2007 & Excel 2007 layouts. Unfortunately, I also tried to load the software into my wife's laptop (Vista operating system) but Vista doesn't like it - everytime she clicks on the Word 2007 icon the software starts installing itself all over again. Vista is really pretty awful - where's that nice button on Control Panel which says 'Install New Programs' - seems to have disappeared in Vista.
