It seems that, as with most security suites, some people love it while others hate it. Personally, I've had no problems with the installation and its still working quietly in the background, doing its job.
I've had many trials with most of the well known security applications and have found this to be the most reliable and one of the easiest to use. I did have problems with BitDefender Total Security 2008 on trial, as it kept turning off my firewall, but this version has been great and hassle free. Give it a go, and if you don't like it, then uninstall it and check out the next one. Just make sure you don't buy security without having tested it first. Because everyone seems to have Norton or Mcafee etc, doesn't mean they're ... Read More:

Bought Vista for a new build PC. Being new build I have had no compatabilty problems with any of the components installed. I did need a few updates for some games and software but most of this was done automatically with windows updater. This should be expected with a new operating system. As previous reviews have mentioned about drivers, Vista does not have as large a driver database as you are led to believe. This is for both x32 or x64 bit versions so you may well need updates from manufacturer websites if you are upgrading to Vista on an older PC.
Also note that Vista 32 will not support anyhting above 4Gb of RAM and 3Gb or less is the recommended. With the 64bit edition you can support larger amounts of RAM up to what the mother ... Read More:

Very simply, purchased this on the back of some excellent reviews here and elsewhere, and while i agree you might be able to create a new site very quickly it is not very straightforward if you already have websites (different one too that need to be managed separately) and wish to use this to edit / maintain them.
I am back to square one now as I need to have something in place to keep on top of my needs and those of the people who I support.
Might just be better off back with Frontpage.

I have just upgraded to Office 2007 but find myself still using 2003 Pro.
Why? It's just that good. The layout is by far the best out of all the office products, and the menu driven system allows you to create very professional work with little input. There are even templates and wizards to help you along the way. All the major office programs are here except FrontPage, which most people wouldn't use anyway, unless into web design.
Overall, I have given it 5 stars as it is the best value for money as well as being a very complete office package.

I have always had a soft spot for Publisher and still use the 2003 version for my teaching and for producing teaching handouts. I haven't bought the 2007 version but have looked at it and it all seems very similar to what has gone before.
For the money, it looks very expensive these days and very poor when compared to products from Serif and the like. Also, remember the latest version of Word makes a good stab at being a half decent DTP application, at least for simple projects. Buying both really is bordering on duplication.
I think I would need a lot or persuading to part with £140 for something which is really a tarted up version of 2003. Most of the time I use a Mac and an application called Swift Publisher, which knocks the socks ... Read More:
