Although thorough, sometimes whilst setting out to be unambiguous it actually ends up being confusing. For example, certain definitions are used as if they were common everyday terms of which people already have a clear understanding; for instance, it uses 'STOP', 'WAIT' and 'PARK' without offering a clear explanation as to the subtle differences in these terms. Also some rules seem to be a bit of a Catch-22 situation: how can ANY vehicle load or unload in a Bus Lane without first being able to drive in one (an act which is forbidden unless otherwise permitted by the sign).
It gets 3 stars though as on the whole it is quite complete and the examples, where given, are good.

Just wanted to counter the negative reviews here, as this is an often beautiful and modest game of many hidden charms, and by no means overly frustrating in its gameplay. There are certain very tough sections, specifically the end boss (which does border on the ridiculous) but overall it shouldn't provide too much of a challenge for any seasoned gamer. Whether it will be to everyone's tastes is another matter, it is fundamentally a platformer with many adventure elements such as a strong story, a good deal of exploration and some light RPG elements.
Its charms lie in it's main character, the beautiful Jade, and a refreshingly light approach to the gameplay, which includes photographing rare creatures for extra credits. The world ... Read More:

If you would like to produce some exciting painted effects to your digital images, quickly and easily you will love the options from this software. Almost all traditional media types are available as a preset one click! They are also costomisable to extend the range plus all presets from PE 3 are included if you had any favourites there.
Once you click on a style, off it goes, mimicking real brushstrokes flowing with the subject matter to make a realistic look. It starts with big strokes getting smaller and more detailed. The good thing is you can stop the "painting" at any stage. This allows a loose abstract look all the way to fine details or anywhere inbetween. There is also a clone tool to bring back details selectively and boost details ... Read More:

This course has one major problem. Once a series of lessons is started it MUST be fully completed. There is no facility to stop and save which is extremely frustrating. This means repeating the same work over and over again. If you e-mail the company they will send a patch to allow saving. Otherwise the units are well constructed and the games are fun. My son enjoyed the work and the problem can be resolved.

Okay, I am new to photography and while editing my photos I wanted to ensure that all my colours on my main PC and my laptops are the same.
I installed the software and went through the relatively simple calibration procedure awaiting radical results. On my Dell 2407-HC (with all settings at factory defaults) the result was a slight ly darker look with deeper blacks. Interesting but not drastic. I the did the same procedure on 2 laptops and had the same subtle difference even though the screens all look very different.
As a result I am feeling like I have wasted my money somewhat - but have got the peice of mind (sort of) that I was lacking.

Normally a new release of a development environment is just a small number of enhancements and a few minor changes to the language features. With this release of Visual Studio Microsoft have almost created an entirely new experience for the developer. Core language enhancements such as LINQ and extension methods combined with major changes to the tools such as IntelliSense for JavaScript make this a must have version of this already great development environment.
The ability to target multiple versions of the framework from within one development environment is a great advantage, now you don't need to have multiple versions of Visual Studio installed this one version can target version 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5 of the dot net framework. The unit test ... Read More:

If this is the world's best solitaire, I dread to think what the worst is like.
Here are a few of the things I don't like about this suite of games:
(1) The 3D option is very difficult to use - there is no "snap to", so you have to judge exactly where to drop the card to make it stay in position. I quickly gave up.
(2) The 2D option is better, but you can't set Preferences to say that this is what you like, so you have to reset to 2D every time you start up the application.
(3) The application takes over the whole screen, including the task bar, and there is no resize button, so the only way to park the application temporarily is by minimizing it.
(4) If you need to look at the rules during a game, you can get ... Read More:

I bought a MacBook some months back for University/Music production, and got iLife to go with it. Whilst overall, their are a number of genuinely positive outlooks to be had, the bundle is not without it moral flaws.
Getting straight into the good points, their is one universal feature that is striking; all the programs are incredibly easy to use, and not hungry on your performance. GarageBand is a joy to use for playing my MIDI keyboard and recording demo's, whilst iPhoto is a rather near program for collating your albums. iWeb is simply fantastic as it's so easy to plan and design web-site with multiple hyperlinks, photo's, video's, and plenty of other features you normally take for granted, whilst iMovie is also excellent quality, in terms ...
