If you plan to purchased Studio on the promise of being able to handle AVCHD then beware of the instability of this product. Pinnacle have a lot of work to do to remove the bugs to make this product viable for HD editing. I have not tried editing SD sources so I cannot comment on their stability within this package.

The Roxio Easy Media packages always appear to be packed with lots of programs promising much for your money. Indeed they do but some of the promises tend to be empty in my experience.
Most of the features work apart from video editing - I have versions 7, 9 and 10 (the latter was bundled free with a new PC) and can't get any of them to actually produce a video. I can go through the process of assembling scenes (on a good day) but then it will freeze, shut down, inform me `there is no common data between these pins' or advise me that 'DIVX software is not installed on the computer' (it is - and Roxio was pre-installed on the same PC when purchased). I have recently written a review on Who do you think you are deluxe. I previously had this product before the deluxe and definatly recommend this, and the deluxe to anyone interested in Family Trees.

For security, AVG is "TOPS".To cut a long story short. I bought a new laptop which had McAfee security on it, after 6 months it caught a virus, so I changed to Norton, but still coudn't get it sorted out. I was pulling my hair out, when a PC technician suggested AVG, so I installed. Fantastic, it cleared my laptop with the first test, I have never looked back. This package is for three PC's for 2 years, and works out at about 4 quid for each computer per year, and the service is great, new virus checks are made each morning after I switch on, and I have had no trouble whatsoever. A fantastic buy, and a fantastic security. BUY IT AND INSTALL IT, you won't be sorry.

Having read the other review's and how apparently usefull they were to other users. I thought that i could buy and use this product effectively.
I bank with nationwide whose download service does not provide OFX files which the manual claims is "industry standard" in the UK. Also the conversion software included contains the caveat that qif files are temperamental. The package cannot convert CSV files although this is one of the Personnal Account's primary outputs. This is not for a lay person the other reports seem to have been written by professionals or keen amateurs. I had hoped to replace my MS Money 2000 with a home grown equal and I'm sorry to say that you will still have to do a lot of the work yourself. It lacks ... Read More: >>More Details |

The new dazzle platinum does record in 60 hz you have to download a program called AMcap and change settings every time you want to record a video however. Would be 5 star rating if it wasn't for the fact you have to tweak it a little bit to get it to record in full colour 60 hz.
