This game needs a patch downloaded from sega before it will even load. The patch no longer seems to be available as we several hours trying to get it to download. No patch thus no game so total waste of money.

I bought Guitar Pro 5 to supliment an old music writing programme that only wrote in standard notation - the aim being to convert then print music in TAB notation. However, I have discovered that Guitar Pro does more that that! Perhaps the most useful feature is its ability to download from other web sites arrangements of songs that have already been transcribed in Guitar Pro format. Not only can you download, modify if required, and print off these arrangements, but they can also be played on your computer. This allows you to fade whichever instrument you play and then jam along with your computer while reading the TAB that advances with the song.

We have used Quickbooks for 13 years and it has been marvellous.
But Quickbooks 2008 is a nightmare. It crashes constantly. No longer has multi currency. The VAT calculations are wrong, the support staff are expensive, you can't understand them, they try to get you to make accounting entries illegal under UK law. They ask you to change correct transaction dates, make up nominal accounts called vat error and then ask you to transfer £100,000's into it!! Their sales staff lie to potential customers and say that there are no VAT problems, but there are, you only have to log onto their support website 'http://community.quickbooks.co.uk/' and look under VAT. I used Version 8 on Windows 95 to teach myself to type in the late 90s.
Then I thought it was great. It was a big help. This version I expected to be more polished. Perhaps more scientific in it's approach; though really it hasn't changed much. Still good. Purchased for my neice, installation hung on her XP machine during install/registration. Ctrl+Alt+Delete showed registration and installation to behave as two seperate applications. Killed registration and the installation proceeded. The first thing I noticed was that the interface didn't scale well to a widescreen resolution of 1680 x 1050 some jumbled text in the options dialogue. As a new Mac convert, I have spent over 20 years with PC's, working with the usual Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). This package came pre-installed with a 30 day demo. I tried it out and it is rather good.
Pages (Word) can be used like a standard word processor or like a DTP package, linking boxes of text to flow from one part to the other. Inserting graphics is easy and changing the layout is even easier. Numbers (Excel) is like a simpler version. A neat thing is if you highlight a group of numbers, it lists the total, average, mean etc at a glance. Try making a button for a web page and exporting it using Coreldraw X3. It's a very frustrating process. The background that should be transparent isn't and neither is the circle shape of the button round. Useless. Does other things well enough but certainly has serious flaws with regard to web graphics. I wonder if I could have bought something better.

Purchased QuickBooks SimpleStart 2008 to tidy up my girlfriends accounts as I am familier with the software as I used quickbooks 8 a ten year old package that cost £40 as was excellent and is easy to use. This Simplestart 2008 is so basic it is not worth buying.Type an amount you are trying to find in my old version up it pops or several of the same amount with the dates for you to choose. This version has not even got this find option. Try getting a free trial of something else of the net and stay well clear of intuit. Waste of hard earned money

I have just had my Mac Quad G5 500Gb internal drive fail, not able to boot at all it just opened a Dawin window ....oooh...bad news ...just dead, i purchased the last copy of Disk Warrior 3.3 so leaving my review on this page. It has COMPLETELY recovered ALL my files and repaired my drive, just fantastic, if you have a hard drive problem and think you have lost it all just order this before doing anything else, i was unsure if this would work but proved so wrong its fabulous thank you Alsoft and Amazon.
