I bought this game some time ago and I'm far from tired of it so it's been well worth the money.
You can sculpt your own region with mountains, lakes, rivers and rolling hills. Large bodies of water attract whales which was a wonderful surprise!
Onto this you can scatter forests and herds of animals.
Make a mountain lake and scatter trees and wild animals around. Now zoom in and you see eagles flying over the lake - it's truly stunning!
Making a complex region can take time and it can be frustrating but take time to look at the Maxis site and check out some of the recommended fan sites. There are user made tools which make region management very much easier. Many users have created regions based upon real life ... Read More:

Within minutes of completing the acoustic optimisation procedure after installation you will be surprised at how quickly and naturally you can speak and how accurate the voice recognition is. For me, it was about 98% accurate and much faster than typing.
Unfortunately, this was spoiled by a headset that pinches, even after being adjusted for size, and leaves you with a headache within fifteen minutes. This seemed more like a poorly designed product than a manufacturing error. The manual also states that the headset can be worn either way round. However, the earpiece is obviously designed to be worn over the left ear and is much less comfortable over the right. This is inconvenient if your computer is on your right. I don't know whether all ... Read More:

I wanted this product mainly for the video tutorials and they were exactly what I was expecting, they are very simple to follow and also provide very clear instructions on how to perform each manoeuvre (much better than listening to your instructor). The printable Theory test book is almost pointless, why not just provide one in the box (its large enough).

This version really is disappointing and full of installation and programming errors. Version 9.0.9.4d released at the end of October does nothing to improve matters.
Nero Vision has seen no real refinement for a few years now, but this version works less well than Nero 8. It does not import files I recorded correctly from DVDs that Nero 8 coped with fine.
Installation takes a remarkably long time and fails if you use the custom option to omit unwanted features. Currently my computer does not list Nero as available to either use or uninstall, though roaming round the hard drive to find the program files, I have managed to get it mostly working.
Very disappointing. I'm hoping I still have my Nero 8 installation files and ... Read More:

I have personally found 'Tiger' to be the most efficient OS X to date, and therefore a real favourite for a couple of years when I was working in a graphics department. Their is no doubt Leopard is a beautiful upgrade, containing a stated "300+ upgrades", however, it is by no means essential if you Mac is work work purposes. The extra features we've found are not for the productive side of things, but more for consolidating files, making things visually look better, and a few notable new programs.
In short, Leopard would no doubt be a great update for the Media orientated users, but if you're all work and no play, it's actually not that essential. "Snow Leopard" has already been announced for next year anyway, and was stated would improve performance and stability, ... Read More:

I've used MCAfee internet suites before and I can honestly say that I will never again. When installed they do not do a good enough job in my opinion. I use Windows Live onecare and PC Tools spyware doctor and this combination has been second to none.

I purchased Paint Shop Pro X2 directly from Corel recently. Their customer support stinks (their website sent me the wrong software, and they refused to believe I'd clicked on the correct button).
Even worse, a week later, this new "Ultimate" version was released, and the price to Upgrade was almost the same as buying a new copy.
Poor poor poor..
Good software, very slow to start up sometimes (about 30 seconds), so I still use Paint Shop Pro v7 when I need to make a quick change, and very poor support.
