Just wanted to counter the negative reviews here, as this is an often beautiful and modest game of many hidden charms, and by no means overly frustrating in its gameplay. There are certain very tough sections, specifically the end boss (which does border on the ridiculous) but overall it shouldn't provide too much of a challenge for any seasoned gamer. Whether it will be to everyone's tastes is another matter, it is fundamentally a platformer with many adventure elements such as a strong story, a good deal of exploration and some light RPG elements.
Its charms lie in it's main character, the beautiful Jade, and a refreshingly light approach to the gameplay, which includes photographing rare creatures for extra credits. The world ... Read More: >>More Details |

This course has one major problem. Once a series of lessons is started it MUST be fully completed. There is no facility to stop and save which is extremely frustrating. This means repeating the same work over and over again. If you e-mail the company they will send a patch to allow saving. Otherwise the units are well constructed and the games are fun. My son enjoyed the work and the problem can be resolved.

If this is the world's best solitaire, I dread to think what the worst is like.
Here are a few of the things I don't like about this suite of games: (1) The 3D option is very difficult to use - there is no "snap to", so you have to judge exactly where to drop the card to make it stay in position. I quickly gave up. (2) The 2D option is better, but you can't set Preferences to say that this is what you like, so you have to reset to 2D every time you start up the application. (3) The application takes over the whole screen, including the task bar, and there is no resize button, so the only way to park the application temporarily is by minimizing it. Wanting to update the excellent COD 9th edition cd-rom, I purchased the COED 11th edition. However, I have a sight problem, and updating has proved to be a mistake because I find the text on the 11th edition too thin and 'spidery', even with the larger font of the two size settings. Unless you have good eyesight, do try and view the 11th. Meanwhile, for the present, I continue to use the visually superior 9th .....

I played it. I liked it and now i find myself reaching for the case again and again. Very well executed and great graphics for its time and easy to run. If you want an easy to run, non-laggy game, then this is for you.
