I can only suggest that everyone who is eligable buys this software! It's fantastic - it really shouldn't be sold this cheaply! My only advice is to click on 'custom install' and make sure you deselect the Office Assistant (the paperclip)! Also, don't get too excited about the bundled business software - it really is dire... I wouldn't suggest anyone tries to run a business with it - use Excel instead! ;) >>More Details |

I was looking for a straightforward page layout tool as I have started creating a lot of ads and brochures in my job. I have never used this type of software before but had heard the name. I have been able to do so much so easily. The Quark box comes with a really handy training CD and manual which was a huge help to me. I always thought you needed to be a designer to create professional looking pages but with a tool like QuarkXPress, it really offers a lot of opportunity for people who do not have a creative background. This product is fantastic value for students. If like me you didnt read into it please be aware that this product is approx 25Gb in size. I bought my mac at the same time and im lucky I got one with a bigger hard drive. The software is excellent and i didnt expect to recieve a useful disk with some tutorials on them. A must buy if you need it. I sure do.
Highly recommended. Amazon posted this quickly and efficiently however the box had some slight dents as if it was dropped. Nether the less it works a charm. Also - If you are wondering how to get the serials, there is a form you fill in for that. I simply filled it in and scanned it along with a valid student card to prove im a student. All of us in the Multimedia Industry know how important Macromedia is, and how it has helped improve techniques and understand more about web pages. I am a student and appreciate the lower cost of this version(although it is still very high). READ THE LISENCING AGREEMENT CAREFULLY. I have started up my multimedia company, but after reading the licence for this version I realised it is ILLEGAL for me to use this software for anything more than learning purposes, which means I have to shell out for the nonn-student version, which will set me back another £300!!
