Office Mac 2004 - Student and Teacher Edition is a fantastic package. I myself am a University student and obviously needed a copy of Word and PowerPoint respectively for lectures, and so bought a copy off ebay (seems to be the best place to find it cheap) for under forty quid.
In College 3 years ago, I had already familiarized myself with the 'full' version of Office Mac 2004 that contained all the features possible, and the slightly different interface. Following on from this experience, and after looking at the average feedback for the 2008 edition, I opted for the Student and teacher edition of 2004 to see if it was much different from the full version I had used. If you don't have alot of time to sit around figuring this software out - then I wouldn't buy it. My main attraction to buying it was that it showed you reports tracking your spending etc. I see it as a "it gets better as you use it" sort of thing.
You need to know basics of accounting, but if you don't it does have tutorials to help you figure things out. I do think it is a good product, but it's not made for someone that wants an easy to understand user friendly interface. >>More Details |
