Having searched around products for editing AVCHD video I loaded the 'trial' version of Studio 12. Although it is feature rich it needs time to get to know, but mainly it often fails to create the final DVD after hours of editing mixing and rendereng. I finally decided to give up and buy Pinnacle Studio Ultimate V12 - not much friendler, slower, but at least it produces the final DVD!

have installed this product om my laptop it seems to be fine, there is only to problems i have found so far and that is 1. it takes ages to render so i turned off render in background and it seems fine now.2 magic bullet doas not work it says i need to update graphics card have done this and still it will not work maybe i need a new graphice card?.
i have burnt a 15 min disc to see what it was like and it aint bad.
anything you have purchased for pinnale 11 will import into 12 easy.now is it worth upgrading to 12 from 11 if your happy with 11 why upgrade ,but having been a fan of pinnalce since stuido 8 , 9 11.yes i did upgrade , will need to upgrade graphics card but might have a new pc built just for pinnalce.

I used to use FCP 3 but for the past few years have been using Avid through my work. The beauty of FCP is the ease in which I've picked it up again. It's very instinctive. Of course, things have moved on and now we have FCS 2, and boy is it a powerful beast. I'm only scratching the surface of Color, Motion, Soundtrack and DVD Studio Pro but have been impressed by it's capabilities. There's plenty to keep me occupied during those longer winter evenings - girlfriend permitting.

I wasted a week of my life and then I returned it. Pinnacle support answered my emails efficiently but none of their suggestions worked. The picture rolled and shuddered in the preview window and was the same in the captured MPEG. Changing cables, capturing direct from camera or VHS, same result. Doesn't work. Amazon's return policy works a treat.

I've been using a PSP since they first came out in 2005 so have got used to moving stuff to and from the PSP and my PCs. To the novice its not always straight forward but Sony do provide enough info in the PSP pack and on their website to explain how to do it.
This piece of software tries to provide a friendly interface from your PC to your PSP. I was suprised how long it took to install and I'm always a bit dubious as you have to wonder how much stuff is being installed on the PC.
