This is a fantastic piece of kit. Lockblock patio and PVC Gutters/ Soffits now sparkling. Dirtblaster does the business.
Only one problem, relating to the suction hose. The instructions (page 6)state "pull detergent suction hose as far as is required out of the housing". The hose is very short and too easily pulled off the connection. Now I have a suction hose which is detached from the machine !!
I suggest the following modifications 1) longer suction hose, 2) Fix the suction hose with a proper mechanical connection (it is presently a push fit which is useless), 3)colour code the hose to indicate when it has reached the end of it's travel.
Otherwise great result.

I was given a sun jar recently, and it really is absolutely beautiful. There isn't enough light to read by, but the glow it gives is so very comforting and cosy, and for atmospheric mood lighting, I can't imagine anything nicer. It makes a wonderful nightlight - very warm and soothing, and because it doesn't plug into the wall, you don't need to worry about frying your lampshades or wasting electricity.
Its being a jar very much adds to the romance of it; almost as if you went on a picnic that day, went into the woods with a jar to catch tadpoles or butterflies and caught the sun instead - really sort of magical. Its being solar powered means it will last for an age, so the initial cost is ultimately well worth it.
I must admit I am a bit of a princess when it comes to mud & stuff, but this kit has forced me to brave it and sort out my garden. The range of tools is good and they are fairly hardwearing. If you are doing any serious hard work you will need something a bit more specific than this, but this is a great all-rounder and a really useful gift.
The kit comprises of: pink basket with removable handle to keep everything organised, heavy-weight gloves for dealing with thorny hedges & plants, light-weight gloves which are great for keeping you clean and splinter-free, ball of string for training plants, handheld size fork, handheld size trowel, kneeling mat perfect for resting your knees and keeping your clothes clean, pruning shears for ... I bought a powermonkey for a transatlantic flight and didn't need to use it in the end, but I did use the universal mains adaptor in the US to charge, not the monkey itself, but my ipod, two brands of mobile phone, and, having bought and additional connector tip, my Nintendo DS, so I didn't have to carry any extra mains adaptors! I can't comment on the efficacy of the monkey itself, but I consider it worth getting for the mains adaptor alone.

Works fine . But I would make a cover for it , as it is not totally waterproof . If water does get in it has to be dried out in airing cupboard . However , the main point it works , NO MORE CATS !

These lanterns are fabulous- we use them to remember my brother who died, and we write messages on the lantern on his birthday or anniversary, and then watch them float off into the night sky. It's a really positive thing to do to remember someone, and makes a hard day a lot easier. Definitely dont use in a built up area, as they do go up very fast and you cant control where they go, and dont use in windy conditions. Otherwise they are brilliant!

I know it's only 1p (well £2.76 inc. P&P) but it blew the curcit on an R/C helicopter I bought in NY, so try something maybe more expensive, and make sure to ask whether it will work on what you want to use it for!
This product looks good - simple and streamlined, and does the job. However, as another reviewer has already mentioned, the glow it gives off is bright green - not even a hint of blue! When I first plugged it in it reminded me more of a spooky green haunted house type of light!
Aside from the colour, the glow it gives off is not too bright and after a night of it being plugged in it does not get hot to the touch which is great. I would recommend this item as long as you are happy with the light being green rather than blue.

I purchased 3 of these for my daughter and neices, all were absolutely fine & certainly no leaks! They're a great size for lunch bags & the matching lunch bag has a veclro strap in it to hold the bottles upright anyway.
I much prefer these to the plastic bottles as the plastic ones tend to get chewed and don't hold as much drink in as the aluminium ones.
Plus these are a nig hit for bike rides as they fit perfectly in the drinks holders.
