I got this as a stocking filler for my 6 year old and it was quite a difficult puzzle to put together.
First of all we couldnt get in the box without ripping all the paper and secondly the pieces are quite flimsy. It took us a while to finish but we got there! >>More Details |

I purchased this for my 18 month old baby girl and she loves it!! It is great fun for her to do and she loves anything to do with Peppa Pig and the gang!

I started on the "childs themed" 6 inch diametre 240pc globe, with animals on as I wasnt too sure about the whole puzzle globe concept, (being a traditional jigsaw fan)
first upon opening it up, I thought "ooh, thats different" as due to the fact of it being a 3 dimentional puzzle, it had 2 round bits (north and south pole) and 2, 4cm x 15cm lengths (approx)to act as picture references how to use them was sussed out very quickly. I found that the pieces were nicely finished off, shiny, smooth and tactile, they made a positive tight fit which made the puzzle sturdy (as it gets lifted up and handled alot whilst making) they were also numbered on the back and I first thought "oh, thats a cheat" (but soon really needed the numbers ... I agree with comment box not easy to open, given to my son as a present and we cracked up at him for ripping the box but in fact it was the only way for a 4 year old to do so. Not an easy jigsaw as not much colours involved in the jigsaw but challenging, parents get lumbered with difficult parts. Impressed though to see supplier made comment of better boxes, would like to buy more jigsaws of Ben 10

my two year old son and I love doing this puzzle (not that he needs any help) - it's perfectly designed (as are all Orchard Toys puzzles) so that the animals are fun to find and there is so much to talk about too.

I bought this for my mum as she often does Jigsaw puzzles but needs to pack them away at the end of the day so that she can use the dining table.
This product does the job perfectly. As the roll is inflatable you can pack it away in the drawer when not in use. You use the non slip felt mat as a base to complete you puzzle on. When you want to pack the puzzle away you simply pump up the tube and roll the puzzle (on the mat) around the tube and then fasten the elastic bands around to keep in place. It can then be stored behind the sofa or on top of the wardrobe until the next puzzling session. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the puzzle stays in place. There are 2 jigsaws in this set - a 12 piece & 24 piece. My 2 year old has mastered the 12 piece set to his great amusement, but is still learning how to do the trickier 24 piece. I think this is definately recommended for 2+ year olds (even though the guide age is 3 years).
