This was bought for my daughter as a first present by friends - great choice, and she has loved it from day one. Don't know quite what it is that has made it such a hit but every time she's played with it a different aspect has been the focus of attention - particularly the squeaky nose - great for chewing and the rattling 'legs/arms'. Still going great guns at 10 months...really recommend it!

It seemed like a great idea, but I have to disagree with the reviewer below - the detail is poor on my globe, and the pictures on the web a little misleading in that respect. It's a struggle to pick out our tiny kingdom (third in the Olympic medal tables!), there are no capital cities marked, and the global precipitation clouds obscure important features. It's a fairly big, and fun ball, but you're presumably looking for some educational value - I reckon there are better ball globes for that purpose.
