The product info doesn't mention how very small the box is. Perhaps this toy will be a lot of fun for a lego / Star Wars fan ?? ... but it is going to seem a very tiny present when it is handed over at a party. Overpriced?

I haven't built a tech lego kit for a while (age 32 ish) but at the current price I couldn't resist this model. It took at least half an hour to build, so not a bad challenge. The bike has lots of realistic detail like the working pistons, chain drive and suspension. I am very happy with the kit and the resulting bike looks great on my desk. I'll have to start saving my pocket money up for another kit :-)

A great addition to a lego city. Very easy to build with two seperate stages and large pieces.
However, this isnt really a practical set. The bins dont tip far enough into the rear of the truck meaning the litter wont come out. Also the lack of smooth tiles on the bed of the truck prevents the tipping function from being able to work without considerable force. Overall, a good set, but it could easily have been better and it's practicality (or lack of it) lets it down badly. >>More Details |

We bought this for our 5 (nearly 6) year old son for Christmas as he is a fan of both Lego and trains but it has far exceeded all our expectations. There are a few different coaches and trucks which enabled him (very patiently and with a little help) to build each one up. Imagine, then, the joy when the train was complete and could be moved around the track with the remote control!! I know that only a few days have elapsed since Christmas but this item has already brought so much fun and I'm sure will continue to do so - and it is educational too, as it requires a lot of patience, concentration and application to put it together. Expensive, perhaps, but well worth the money to see the smile on a little boy's face!!
