I bought this model with the idea of helping my nephew build it and I have to say I have ended up with mixed feelings.
The Good
The wooden pieces are nicely finished, no splinters; the instruction booklet details all the pieces, so you can quickly tell if anything is missing; the glue included is of good quality and there's plenty of it and it also includes plans to lay out the initial pieces to ensure they are arranged correctly.
The Bad.
Although the design itself is good the actual construction concept is poor. Everything has to be glued together. Not only do you have to wait ages for the glue to dry thoroughly but gluing wood flat to flat is never going to be strong. Why not drill a few more holes and ... Read More:

Another superb toy from Wow!
Our 2 year old grandson had this given him on his birthday. It was a total hit from the word go. The novelty of sorting the recycling, collecting it and loading up the truck gives him constant pleasure and keeps him amused for hours.
I thought nothing could surpass his love for Ernie the fire truck but this delightful toy could do just that.
As with all the Wow toys this is really well made and beautifully designed.
I cannot understand anyone buying anything but Wow toys - no batteries needed!

This is the best of the books currently available for the "First Leappad"system in the opinion of my toddler. The simple reason why? It featuresWinnie the Pooh! This would be a good book to get if you want to get yourchild into using the Leappad system, and once they've got the hang of it,you can introduce the others. The book can be read as a story, witheach page containing activities or games, and then turned around forfurther activities. One typical page asks the child to point toparticular parts of Pooh's body, and another asks the child to point tovarious houses found in the Hundred Acre Wood in order to help owl findhis party hat. This Pooh is the Disney version, so purists might notbe as keen as my little girl, but a strength ... Read More:

I bought this a couple of weeks ago, to make bathtime a bit more interesting for my 5 month old and we love it! If I'm honest mum and dad love it more than the baby, and can be heard humming his tune long after bathtime is over!! It's a real fun happy hippo, but could do with having a bit more power behind him!!

This was bought as a Christmas present for my 5 year old daughter and she thinks it's absolutely brilliant. We've played it at least 10 times since then and she'd quite happily play it a lot more! I'm quite amazed how quickly it enables children to grasp counting money too. It's quite basic but is definitely sturdy - I would recommend this game to anyone with a child/children aged 4-10.
