I highly recommend this toy - it is played with by my 9 month old every single day. She finds news thing to explore (Light, colour, sound) all the time.

I had been trying to think of ways for our 3 and half year old to start recognising his alphabet - unfortunatley he hasn't taken to the jigsaws my older son enjoyed and I didn't want to push him into anything, but wanted to make it fun.
When I saw the V smile I thought 'Bingo!' - this will interest him as he is already familiar with playing basic games on cbeebies website and I noticed there was an alphabet game available (together with his interest in Thomas - I thought I'd cracked it!!!!)
So - I read 1 or 2 vague reviews here and there - but convinced myself that this was definitely the toy to have.
I decided to get everything working when the boys were in bed - so that I could avoid the inevitable impatience ... Read More:

We have had this toy since last Christmas and the paint on Felix comes off quite easily. Apart from that it is a fun toy but make sure you get all the water out of it after bath time or it starts to go a bit mouldy.

I was in two minds whether or not to buy this because of all the bad reviews about it being inaccurate, but I thought 'What the heck, I can always send it back'. I'm so glad I took the risk because this little gadget is great! It looks brilliant, giving a lovely soft glow to the nursery and the colours are a great visual indicator of the temperature which save you stumbling around in the dark trying to peer at a non-light up one. On the subject of the thermometer being inaccurate, I have to say it is definately not a problem with my egg as I have compared it to an extreamly accurate thermocouple thermometer and they always read no more than 0.1 of a degree apart. I don't know whether there has been a bad batch of these eggs going out to cause them to give ... Read More:

My daughter is 9 months and has had the giraffe for about a month. She stands up using it no problem and immediately stops crying and turns to it if I start playing with it and she is upset. We had no problems at all and all her cousins (1yr to 4yrs) love playing with it too.

My 16 month old daughter loves this slide. We don't bother with batteries and simply use it as a slide.
The smaller slide can be removed if you want which we did at first to make it easier for Amy to use. Its also just the right size for her happy land people so she also uses it during the day as a slide for them (with the house end balanced on some books or something of the right height).
One of the best things I've bought and I'm sure it'll keep her amuzed for years to come.

We brought this for our little boy with his christmas money, who is 2,three in march.I was a little sceptical about spending this sort of money on something that could be great or not so.I saw it on offer and eventually decided to get it.Christmas day came we put in the batteries and everyday since,my boy has been on it.I can glady say its fab!He now knows most of his letters and all of his numbers so as far as the educational thing goes thats a 10 out of 10 for me.We also brought him the Thomas game which he loves,he sometimes struggles with the mouse but with abit of practice he'll be fine.
The only thing i would say is to buy the adapter, were still on our first lot of batteries but it is definately cheaper in the long run.
