I rang hasbro when they redesigned the trivial pursuit board to complain about what they'd done and was told that customers liked the new version and that there would be no going back.
I can see that no no one else likes it either but putting the reviews on amazon obviously aren't sufficient.
If you love triv like I do then please email hasbro/mb customer services and let them know what a balls up they've made!
We bought this for our son's Christmas present - he'd enjoyed the movie - and we hoped it would be similar to Mousetrap but hopefully more durable.
I have to say that the bits are well made and much more sturdy than mousetrap, but then at about three times the price you would hope so!
The trap itself slotted together well and works most of the time, but the big disappointment is the game itself. You move round the board picking up tokens with your colour food on it, but it is never really explaind in the instructions what you should do if you don't pick up the correct colour. My daughter got this when she was 4, and its one of those jigsaws that is in between the more simple toddler jigsaws and the "big girls" ones (her words, not mine). It kept her going for a while, as this was pretty complicated for her. But she kept going back to it, and I think the interesting picture, and wide mix of princesses made it enjoyable.
