I have a mopod and I thought this would be an easy and cool addition to a phone.
Unfortunately they don't work on all make of phone but mine worked fine anyway.
But when I got round to it if you got a phone call or a message the mopod would be useless as it makes no sound and you would have to see it in order for it to work.
Sometimes it does not even receive the message and won't spin and flash.
Or it does the opposite and flashes for no reason whatsoever.
I was in a quiet room, no one around and it goes off sending me to look at my mobile for no reason.

My son got the car for xmas. Constructing it was fun - you build the frame from meccano and then attach it to the chassis which contains lights, sound, radio control receiver and motor for rear wheel drive and motor for front wheen steering. Having assembled everything, my son played with it. 5 minutes later he returned saying the drive wheels were making a funny sound and sometimes didn't turn.
I disassembled the car and looked inside the chassis. The main motor has a metal cog that drives a plastic cog assembly (gear reduction) which then powers the back wheels. The metal cog had ground out one or two teeth of the plastic cog so that when in the right position, the motor spins but with no power transfer to the rear wheel.

I thought that the Funkeys would be a complete waste of money and yet another fad. How wrong I was. This toy has provided hours of fun for my son encouraging computer, keyboard and reading skills. Definately worth buying.

I bought these ages ago and got bored of them easily. However i've got them out again and i've spent abit more time with them and now i'm apreciating them alot more. I don't spend ages watching them i just get them out about 10 mins before i go to bed or watch them when i'm waiting for the time for me to set off to school but i think you'll need a few more to keep you entertained for hours. Once i get my paper round and i've got enough money i'll buy the one where its a village or if the wages are really good the one wehere they go on holiday and the village. So this is my advice. Two ain't enough, get a few more. (I heard that if you get loads and pile them all on top of each other the top one will either bungee jump down all the cubes or parachute ... Read More:
